Starbucks — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

Long story short: my drink was made incorrectly and they made me pay for the replacement.

The long story: This location is right by my work, so I come here often. I don’t usually have a problem unless I go inside. Usually the wait time is longer inside than in the actual drive thru even if the drive thru is into the street. In any case, today I waited fifteen minutes for a hot chocolate that was incorrect. Wrong size and wrong milk. I was already five minutes late to work at the point and it was really busy and they were very understaffed so I just left and thought I’ll just drink it anyway. I tried to drink it but I just couldn’t. Regular milk really messes up my stomach. So I go back at lunch and I tell them that my drink was made wrong and I couldn’t drink it (I brought the drink with me for proof). And the girl at the counter was sooooo nice. But she then charged me for the replacement drink. Not the difference but for a whole new drink. So now I’ve spent $12 on one drink when they initially made the first one incorrectly. I used to work at Starbucks and we never would’ve charged someone for a drink we made wrong. We would’ve just remade it the correct way. I’m upset that I had to pay for two drinks. It’s a little unfair. The employees at this Starbucks are really nice but I just don’t like going inside. But also who wants to block the street? I don’t think I’ll ever go into this Starbucks again. It’s just not worth it. My recommendation: don’t ever actually go inside of this Starbucks if you can avoid it. And if you absolutely have to, hope that they don’t mess...

This Starbucks is located off of US1/Federal highway and Davie Blvd on the north east corner across the street from Chevron and on the opposite corner across from walgreens in Fort Lauderdale FL good location and Drivethru They normally have a line around the corner the people that work there are always friendly fast and efficient the menu of what they have is right there as you get ready to place your order not sure of what to get ??ask them and they are always ready to suggest something that you're sure to Love and enjoy!!from iced to hot drinks not just coffee, A Venti ( Large ) Chai Latte for example for the holidays with eggnog very nice ! Lactose intolerant ?( and yes we are out there )..so when you can't handle milk or cream ? .. Try it with soy then ..many options available to handle your craving for that anytime caffeine fix ..pastry,cookie or food options available for when you need more than just a hot or cold beverage and you need something to nosh on .The people there work hard and remember the regulars most times when they place an order ..also remember Yes they do work there and Yes they do a fabulous job doing it ,Tipping is an option and your choice Its the Holiday season ..I say Tip them generously and not just on the holidays !for a Job very,very well done!! I Thank you to every one that works there and My Bosses thank them too ( when I go there to get their Lattes Iced and hot before I go to work ,)It never hurts to be kind to them ,your boss while your getting your caffeine..get them...

My first time coming to this location & it is the worst Starbucks I've ever visited. My cup was dirty with coffee stains on it. I have never visited a Starbucks that they tried to be so fast with the drive through service that the young lady taking the order outside knew nothing about some of the items offered concerning their hot teas. I wanted the honey citrus hot tea & a extra green tea bag. I was told they didn't have it. I was offered the honey citrus mint tea, some type of latte, a jade tea I believe & I felt like I was in the black & white twilight zone at this point. Every time I have gone to any Starbucks across Florida I request the same tea & they have it. I don't know what was wrong with this location but it is the worst I've ever visited. I specifically said no mint tea & that's what I received it had no honey, no citrus, & it was full of MINT. My friend & I live down south. We both were doing a prom at the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina. I purchased this same tea the night before at the 7230 nw 36 st. location and it was GREAT. THIS LOCATION DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE THE STAR I GAVE IT BECAUSE WE THREW THE TEA IN THE GARBAGE IT...
