Two stars.
Came here for a weekend brunch around 10:30 a.m. The place was pretty empty considering that it would be the prime time for brunch. We got seated right away.
Coffee au lait didn't have much of a coffee taste, just a lot of milk. Ice coffee was just bland. Nothing special.
Pancakes!! I saw three different types of pancakes - original, blueberry, and orange and walnut - and I chose the orange and walnut pancakes. It was $5 more than regular pancakes. Again, nothing special. Just pancakes with orange slices and very minimal amount of walnuts. The orange sauce was too tangy to go with the pancakes so I asked for maple syrup and butter.
My quest to find the perfect, fluffy, light pancakes would need to continue.
They forgot to serve us water.

Read moreDisappointed with the experience. Went for brunch and was immediately put off when we were served drinks in dirty glasses—one even had a chunk of dust in it. The food was decent but nothing special.
The real issue came with the bill. A 20% gratuity was automatically added for a table of two, along with a 3.5% fee for credit card payments. While that in itself was frustrating, the way it was handled made it worse. The server handed over the payment machine while still holding the bill, and the machine prompted an additional tip of 20-25-30%. If you’re not paying close attention and don’t physically take the bill to check, you could easily end up tipping twice—just like I did.
This feels misleading and takes advantage of customers who aren’t expecting it. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression, and I...
