My boyfriend and I were so impressed by Pho Che’s yummy food, huge portion sizes, AND affordable prices. We ordered the small pho with rare steak and brisket, bbq pork bahn mi, and french fries provenzal. The food was delicious but we still had a lot to take home after. The fries were so crispy and garlicky. They were a little too oily for me and I wish it came with a spicy mayo instead of ketchup and mustard. Definitely have more than 2 people eating the fries if you order, because they give a lot! The bahn mi was equally good and we were surprised by how good the bread was. The pho was huge even for a small size, and the broth and noodles were light so it doesn’t leave you feeling too full after a few sips. I honestly think if you’re just coming with one other person, you can order one dish and share between the two of you (not for the bahn mi though…I’m not sharing that).

Besides the food, the staff was very attentive and considerate. They heard me telling my boyfriend that I was cold and turned on the heat 😭 and when my boyfriend’s hands got wet from squeezing like into our pho they brought napkins without us having to ask. We really appreciated it!! The inside is a little on the smaller side but had a cozy feel. Def recommend checking this place out if you’re...

Came in on New Year's Day with a party of 7 (including 2 babies) at around 1 PM. Thankfully, my friend was able to make a reservation because the place is very small. I do appreciate that they were able to hold the table for us, even though we were running 15 minutes late. However, this wasn't the best Vietnamese food. It was more like a fusion spot. The best thing we ordered were the garlic fries. Yes, you heard right - garlic fries at a Vietnamese restaurant. But who am I to complain - they were the battered kind and came out perfectly crispy and garlicky.

For my main, I had the vermicelli bowl with spring rolls. The spring rolls are the lazy spring rolls where they don't use rice paper, but just use spring roll paper. Instead of a bowl, the noodles are served in a cold chunk. And instead of a bed of crisp lettuce/cucumber, it's a side salad with a mystery mayo-based dressing. Hubby had the beef with rice dish, which came with the same side salad, and instead of grilled beef, it was more like a bulgogi. We also tried the pork banh mi, which was just fine but again, not really grilled like real Vietnamese grilled pork.

I might come back for an order of fries, but that's...

Pho Che will be my top choice when the pho craving gets me the next time. I have quite a restrictive diet now and can't eat certain veggies. For some reason, I am finding many places in Jersey that are not willing to accommodate, making my dine-out choices very limited. The extremely pleasant woman who answered my call told me, "No problem." I ordered a Lg veggie & tofu pho and an order of veggie gyoza. The gyoza were crispy and tasted very good. I didn't even use sauce on most of them. In comparison to the place I had been ordering from, I received a huge bowl of veggies a generous amount of noodles and a satisfying amount of tofu. The other place barely sends any of the above and the amount being sent has steadily decreased over the last few months. After assembling my beautiful bowl of soup I was extremely impressed and after my first spoon of broth was even more pleased. At the end of the meal I sat back and was more disappointed that I hadn't found Pho Che sooner. Not only was my mouth smiling, my stomach was very happy too. If you aren't sure about ordering here I definitely recommend giving them a go. I look forward to trying some other items on the menu in the...
