NEVER order catering from this specific location. We had placed an order days prior to picking it up for around 400 mini biscuits for an event at a high school. I placed the pickup for 7:30 am to allow extra time if needed when school started for the kids at 8:40. All grits were ready when I arrived but only a few boxes of biscuits were ready to go which wasnt a big deal. I tried to be as patient an d understanding as I could be, but I kept being told "another 10-15 minutes" when these kids were supposed to eat at 8:15 am. I finally had to take what I could when it hit 8:20 and I was still at the restaurant and they still had another 5 dozen to bake. I thought Id allowed enough time in case of a dozen being baked as I came in but to my surprise it seemed they had just started to order just prior to my pickup time knowing how many we had ordered. I also asked for a refund on the 5 dozen on the credit card and they stated they couldnt refund the card only cash (mind you, I had literally just swiped the credit card 30 minutes prior there is surely a way to refund a card?), and kept being told again and again they could only give cash which I cannot accept since this is a company card and they dont allow cash at all. I had to basically demand delivery because it was such a large chunk of funds to lose and was not offered any sort of compensation, help, or even a small discount. I normally would never post a bad, lengthy review such as this one but this was a disaster and as amazing as the biscuits as, we wont use this location for catering again. This is the 2nd bad experience the school has had with...
Read moreEdit: So I gave then some time and tried again. Ordered the LTO Sausage and Pepper and Onion biscuit.....Got NO PEPPERS OR ONIONS!! Oh well this place is awful that was their 2nd and final chance.
I was very excited to see a new breakfast place opening right down the street from my house. Unfortunately it will not be my new morning routine.
I do not know the menu as I have never heard of nor been to a Biscuitville. The Drive Thru is set up where there are people standing outside to take your order. They hand you a paper menu. Now I have to sit there with a person staring into my car awkwardly while I try to read and decide. Absolutely stressful and unpleasant experience. SO I decided to just go inside and order which defeats the purpose of a quick drive thru experience.
I will say that inside, everyone was very nice and super friendly. I just don't want to have to go into a crowded place and deal with all of that, hence a drive thru.
As for the food: The Southern Steak and Cheese was really really good! I added egg, which I don't think they charged me for. (Not sure if this is standard or was a mistake. I only noticed while writing this). The Grits, on the other hand, were just awful. It was a bowl of soup with some instant grits kinda of in it. I will try to attach a picture. They were so watered down that I tried to just drink them out of the cup. 🤮
Overall I don't think any of the issues are due to 1st day growing pains but rather processes and procedures that just don't fit with what I was...
Read moreWent here for the first time last Sunday. Not too impressed. I ordered a pancake platter, grilled (english muffin) chicken club and a hash brown. The pancakes and eggs were good, the sausage patty was a sausage patty. No better or worse than any other fast food sausage patty. The grilled chicken club however looked nothing like the picture on the website. In their defense though, no fast food sandwich from any fast food place ever looks like the one depicted in the photo. The sandwich I got had a piece of chicken that did not overlap the muffin as it does in the picture. It was actually smaller than the muffin itself. And that's not the major complaint. The major complaint is it had no lettuce, tomato, bacon or cheese on it. So much for the "club" portion of my sandwich. As for the hash brown, I can't speak for it since it never made it in the bag but did make it on the receipt. The same can be said for the condiments I asked for for my non existent chicken club. So I basically paid $20+ for 3 pancakes, a couple of eggs, an average sausage patty and a very small piece of chicken. I gave 2 stars because as busy as it was, the drive thru moved pretty quickly and the people at the window were very personable. Although not very accurate...
