The experience I had at the Fort Myers location off six miles cypress was terrible. I sent a complaint into the corporate office on their website. I have never experienced this before visiting any of their locations. My four year old nephew who has autism ordered his food. Being that he is four and trying to order for himself, he stated he wanted his egg to look like the picture on the photo, which displayed no runny egg. I let the waitress know that he wants a sunny side egg no runny yolk. Mind you agin he is four, she made it very difficult as if she could not articulate what we were saying. I let her know I am not sure how or what you need to do but just make sure the egg is not runny. Instead of her writing on the ticket what he requested she proceeded to say she needs to ask the cook about the egg because it can’t not be brought out without the egg runny. I went ahead ordered food. When the food was brought out, his egg was runny. My food only came out with the pancake and I was told I need to wait for one egg and bacon, which I was confused on because other plates brought after I ordered came out complete. My nephew food was complete yet my food was incomplete. At this time, I asked for the manager because maybe I speak a different language or something. The manager came out and understood exactly what I wanted. However, at this time I no longer want my food because I don’t want to eat my food in pieces. I chose to keep his food and they brought another egg out. Mind you, my nephew just received his food, within seconds I was brought the ticket and asked if I wanted a box. I then asked why am I being rushed out of the restaurant. The manager went ahead to now try and down play the situation and make it seem as if I was upset. I wasn’t upset at all, I simply wanted know why were we being rushed out the restaurant. I honestly believe the waitress was racist and did not want to wait on us. I say this because she never smiled or took time to listen to what we wanted. She also would not return to assist us.i have never experienced this and i have been coming here for years. I...
Read moreLet's start with the good. The restaurant was very clean and the decor was very similar to an upscale diner. They had a fair amount of options to choose from on the menu, but I will say my normal go tos at most restaurants were not available. The prices are a bit up there as well. I was however able to find something somewhat similar (egg scramble bowl). Our server, Nancy, was very polite but is not what I would term as friendly. No small talk just down to business. If there were any specials she said not a word. When our food came it looked great. When I took my first few bites the food was a little bland but nothing some salt could not fix. All was good so when Nancy came by to check on us we said we were good. Then I took my fifth bite and noticed the home fries in my scramble bowl were burned and not just a little bit but a lot. I took a few more bites and it was the same then I pulled my egg off of the home fries and noticed they were a charred mess. Tried to locate our waitress but could not find her anywhere. Ended up eating my eggs but leaving the home fries. My husband was not a huge fan of what he got either. His complaint was that it was bland and that maybe some sausage gravy would have helped which was nowhere on the menu. When our server finally returned she literally dropped the bill at the table and said she'll take it when we are ready and kept walking. $55 for two people. Will not be coming back again...
Read moreMy son and I went here for breakfast yesterday. Our server (Abigail) was very pleasant and greeted us promptly to take our drink order. After placing our food order, she checked on us several times, while we waited for the food to come out. The food was very good and the presentation was nice as well. During the course of the meal, my son had to use the restroom. I took my purse with me, as I didn’t want to leave it just laying on the table. Upon our return, we found that they had cleared our table and thrown away our half eaten food. The server showed up as soon as we realized this, and was very apologetic. She offered to remake our meals, but we didn’t have the time, as we were on our way to a birthday party. I told her not to worry about it and gave her my card to pay for the meal. Instead of bringing me a receipt, she brought over the manager instead. He too was very apologetic and said he would have liked to make it right, but since we didn’t have the time for a remake, he would make adjustments to the bill. I thought he would have taken a percentage off, since we did eat some of it, but to my surprise, he came back with a bill that was $0.00. Although it wasn’t expected, I was very appreciative and I will definitely be back. I like to feel appreciated wherever I spend my money as a customer, and they certainly went above what I was expecting with the...
