Can't say enough good things about this place! The staff is phenomenal. From my very first encounter (booking a reservation online thru Facebook), I realized a messed up and booked the wrong date AND booked two lanes. I've never thrown axes before so I didn't know what to do. I called them about the wrong date, they also fixed my mistake about only needing one lane. They greeted us at the door with genuine excitement. We arrived early and had dinner beforehand. The waitress explained the extensive whiskey list (over 300 in stock!), was extremely attentive and very helpful. Next up was our axe coach. He was entertaining, encouraging, informative and a huge asset to have walking the lanes. We didn't keep score . Our only goal of the night was to learn to throw, not hurt ourselves and get that thing to actually stick on the wall. We did! We even rung the bullseye bell a handful of times so the night was a success!

We stopped off for a nightcap to check the place out for the future to do some ax throwing. We will NOT be back. There was 4 of us that ordered knob creek rye.. this is not a specialty whiskey it is not an aged whiskey. Initially they gave us a bill for $129… that’s right huh? I’m sorry NOOOOOO IM IN THE BUSINESS! This is not the cost for 2 smoked old fashioneds, 1 rocks and 1 neat? Completely turned off by the bartender who obviously was on something and continued to talk the entire visit. Dumfounded by the bill? I’m sure capital grill or a high end eatery in Naples doesn’t charge this for 4 drinks. She then proceeded to say she called the manager and gave us a 10% discount? Huh? Also, her husband who is the chef peeked out to flip us the bird for not tipping? Sorry! Hell no! Figure out your prices because that is NOT what the website reflects.

In Waukesha we have the Brewcade and in Fort Myers the Lumber Axe. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and the zillions of bourbons (I love my bourbons) they had on display. The Red River called to me and so I chose that but it was not very good, however the Blue Note was absolutely excellent. I would actually buy a bottle. The French fries were fantastic they're done in Old Bay seasoning. My grilled cheese BBQ sandwich had large toast and not enough brisket for the amount of bread. However it was tasty. We ordered a chicken sandwich to go and I was told it was burned and not very good. The staff was polite friendly and very efficient it was just the food was not quite what I had hoped for. Keep those bourbons coming one of the biggest selections I've seen!

You just have to try this place out, If you love whiskey, beer or just great food this place has it all. I am a self confessed bourbon lover and I was in awe of all of the whiskey that they have available. I was able to try an incredible whiskey flight of ones that i have yet to try before.

SW Florida needs a great whiskey bar where you can try different ones before you splurge on a bottle for your own collection. This is a place that caters to those that want more than just the typical 3 or 4 bottles behind the bar, this is my new go to place.

We also enjoyed two great beers and some incredible food. We had the pulled pork nachos that were loaded with some of the best pulled pork we have tasted. I cant wait to try the big pulled pork sandwich.

We did spend a lot of time with the manager Ryan who is very knowledgeable and he gave us some incredible suggestions of things to try. It was great to talk with him and he lead me to a great beer that was one that I will continue to ask for when I am there,

Oh, btw.... they also have axe throwing lanes. We didn't try it this time but we had a great time watching the groups play.

All in all it was a great time and a place that we will return to often and bring...

Was there end of April 2024 with 3 friends. Had reservation for noon on wknd. There was only a female bartender and a cook in the kitchen working. She was sweet and helpful explaining the Axe throwing area to us. The womens bathroom trash can was near full and obviously hadn't been emptied before closing the previous night. It was clear that there needs to be some better management and oversight.

Pro's: Large facility with 4 billards tables and several lanes for Axe toss along with some smaller "wall" corn hole games while your waiting for your turn. Appetizers were ok.

Con's: Not enough staff, no mention on website about NO open-toed footwear, fortunately they offered "croc's" in various sizes. Axe's should've been SHARPENED at the end of previous night or by someone before place opened. The Axes' were too dull to penetrate the boards and "stick" in instead of bouncing off most times. With some better oversight this place would do...
