So Im a nuring instructor and while in class, I heard my student talking about this new beauty supply store. My student know for a hobby I do nails( mostly mine and family ) so they suggested I go, because they have a nail accessory section that is out of this world!!! Later that day I went to one of the clinics that I instruct at and yet again I heard the staff annnnnndddd patients discussing this new beauty supply store! So I said thats it " I've gotta check this place out!" So I grabbed my cousin and we went in. The place gave me a NYC hair supply store vibe, which i loved (makes me feel like im back home) and the selection was unbelievable!!! Then baby!!.... I saw the prices!!!! I was ready to pitch a tent, apply for a job, or give whole paychecks just so I could stay there!!! They have everything from hair extensions, jewelry, and nail tech supplies!!! Lotions I have seen since I was a little girl!!! And bangles.. BANGLES!!! The staff was amazing and very helpful and the owner was greeting everyone with a smile and friendly demeanor. The young lady at the register was the best, I told her " I loved her nails, and she explained she's a nail tech, and she gets her supplies there ( needles to say, her paycheck goes right back to the job, lol ) the finally š on top was they were giving free samples with every purchase!!!! Just go ladies dont wait!! For the locals that know what I'm talking about " I feel sorry for THE BEAUTY SUPPLY store on fowler, K &K Wigs, and that overpriced place next to citi trends and by Bravo and fitness. Oh I almost forgot, the hours of operation beat everyone!! Cause we all know what it's like to not have enough in a pack and the hair store is closed!! Bottom line they have a customer in ME...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited the new Beauty Supply Warehouse in my city and was very disappointed with the way we were treated. When we walked in, the staff mentioned their bag policy. My cousin decided to take her purse back to the car because she didnāt feel comfortable leaving it in one of the lockers. When she came back in with just her wallet, the employees at the front made a rude comment in Spanish asking, āWhatās her problem?ā not realizing that we also speak Spanish.
My cousin calmly explained that there wasnāt any problem, but that the way she was approached was unnecessary. Instead of resolving things, two other employees joined in, started laughing, and even sarcastically said, āGod bless you.ā
We called the manager afterward to report what happened, and he told us it wasnāt his problem, which made the situation even worse. This was supposed to be a new store to support in the community, but after that kind of treatment, we wonāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt even know where to start with this place. I went in hoping to grab some beauty supplies, but honestly, it was one of the worst shopping experiences ever had. The staff here is not just rudeātheyāre outright disrespectful. The place felt like it was exorting evil.
Thereās definitely a vibe of racism in the air. The way they treated me and other black people was so off-putting, like we were somehow inconveniencing them by being there.
Then thereās the sexism. I watched the staff talk down to women like we didnāt know what we were doing, especially when it came to asking about products. They were condescending, like they thought we needed their approval to pick something out..
Literally go anywhere else there are so many beauty supplies down the street, I refuse to give my...
