I got a scare of my life, I walked in to ask to use the restroom. The guy behind the counter told me you must buy something or leave. I said OK but can I use the restroom first but that won’t be a problem I really have to pee. The owner which was an older man said in a very harsh tone just let him go. The guy behind the counter said why can’t you people and your kind go use the 711 bathroom down the road. The owner just waved him off and said go ahead Use the bathroom and leave. I use the bathroom came out. I asked if I can purchase a soda as a show of good fate, but the owner said just leave. At that point they both got up and was advancing towards me as if I did something wrong. So I said OK fine I’m leaving and the owner said yes just get outta here. I walked out of the building. Got to my car Decided to take a picture of the front of the building. The owner came running up. I hardly got into my car thinking that he was gonna hit me and he took out his camera and started trying to take pictures of my vehicle shouting come back here I’ll deal with you. If they’re gonna behave like this, I don’t recommend anyone ever going to a place like this. From the racism to the threats of aggression no one should have to put up with...
Read moreTHIS IS NYC CUISINE AT ITS BEST!!! I ate here the first time Friday (writing this on a Monday), and I should have and wanted to leave a review then but the weekend got here and life happens... the pizza I got on Friday was amazing and HANDS DOWN the best pie I've had outside of the The City (Tony even delivered it himself!)! The dough is made fresh from scratch in-house, the meats are high quality and SO flavorful, and the sauce was PERFECT. Went back today for lunch and just had their Italian Sub (hoagie, grinder, you get the point).... WOW.... I thought I was sitting on a park bench at Union Square waiting to catch the 6 train... even the bread roll is MADE IN HOUSE FROM SCRATCH! Sorry, I know I'm kind of fanning out right now, but as a 30 restaurant guy and someone who know good New York eats, this place is our new go-to and you have to...
Read moreAlthough the atmosphere and the service was nice, the pizza was disgusting.. I must’ve caught them on a bad day because I got the last 2 slices and he only heated them for 10 secs and they were so dry with zero cheese pull, but he did offer to make me a fresh pizza, but I would’ve had to wait too long for it. Let me just say all Tony’s are not created equal.. and they all should have the same ingredients or oven like the location on Daniel’s does and not to mention my slices were not packaged in the nice sturdy box I usually get from the other Tony’s.. it was given to me in a plastic bag, barely covered with 2 paper plates as if it was like trash and it was. I guess I will continue to go on Daniel’s. It is really hard to find good pizza spot...
