I went to this McDonald's 2 weeks ago and ordered four Happy Meals for my kids I double checked the order at the call box, and at the payment window. When I got to the pick up window, they only gave me one happy meal. When I told them that I ordered four, I was told that I needed to drive back around and reorder. They were very busy at this time. Knowing that this was inappropriate of them I asked the girl if she could just take my payment for the other three and she said that she was unable to at her window. I asked if she could get me a manager and the manager stated that I needed to drive around as well instead of correcting the mistake that they made. She was very rude with me and whenever I told her that I was going to make a complaint about it she told me to go right on ahead. I just got a call back from the general manager, and from the beginning he denied that there was anybody that matched the description I gave that work there as a manager but then when I gave the description again he said oh yeah she's in training. So a manager in training is allowed to talk down to customers and treat them poorly? After that he started to ask me what I would like for him to do about it I said I don't know what I would like for you to do it's your job to tell me what the result is, and the only resolved that he could give that he thought would make me feel better is that if I come to the McDonald's he is going to be there as if he is some sort of celebrity that I have just been waiting to meet? I asked him to speak to his manager or supervisor and he did not want to pass along that I wanted to speak to them and told me that I should call the customer service number again. After calling the customer service number again and being told that no he was not handling that properly and no meeting him or a free meal would not be a good resolve to the issue. I told customer service that if this is the way that the training is happening for their new managers and this is the way that their new managers are treating people then there is a serious issue and they agreed as well. I received a call back from another supervisor and his only resolved once again was a free meal. I don't want the free meal. I want to know what the resolve for the issue is. I want to know why somebody in training is mistreating customers that way, why they can't correct a mistake that they make and want to put it on me and as far as I am concerned that manager should be retrained and buy a new general manager and possibly buy a new regional manager or supervisor the last supervisor that called me got very upset that I wouldn't just take a sandwich for my troubles and then refused to go any further with the matter and hung up on me instead of allowing me the opportunity to let them know that I want to speak to their higher up now. It appears that the managers like to duck their problems and not come up with...
Read moreMcDonald's usually a better than average fast-food eatery. Breakfast first day was impressive. Lunch -2nd day... not so impressive. Had to wait longer than usual as a cheese burger was behind in completing the order. In the meantime, the large french fry requested and was already sitting in the bag -resulting I barely LUKE WARM fries 🍟 when we were finally able to sit down and eat -just the way I like it? No! And, while waiting for the gal taking orders, touching the order screen, taking dirty money in her hands in the ordering process, and then going back to touching all the food items going into the bags. And, of course, while never wearing any gloves at anytime. But that's the same at any fast food joints I would see that happening. Even more appetizing was watching her -facing towards the kitchen area, and with her left hand- lifting her pullover shirt enough to stick her hand under and rub her belly while waiting. Yes, we all get an urge to scratch an itch, just don't need you to do it while handling the food you will be giving me to eat. I would never do that to you or anyone else. As for food handlers wearing protective gloves while handling food??? That's a joke! Yes, the reasoning behind that idea is admirable. But the fact is -if you're watching and paying attention... you will see that the food handlers are still touching everything and anything as if they weren't wearing gloves, as if they weren't even handling food. Touching their hats, hair, itchy nose, cellphone, all door handles that others that don't need to wear gloves, grabbing their pants with both gloved hands and doing the Chubby Checker Twist to pull their pants up over their hips, and then back to touching the customers foods. Wearing the food aprons to the toilet -not removing them, come out and then back behind the food counter. And all this is supposed to be considered acceptable food handling??? And, if it isn't, then where is the supervising management while all this is going on??? If I, as a customer and truck driver, can see these things happening all the time, then how come management doesn't see it as a...
Read moreAbout a month ago I ordered 2 mchickens and 2 cheeseburgers and large fry. They got my order correct except for one mchicken that was not in my bag, I didn’t think it was a big deal but I still wanted the mchicken I had paid for. So I walk back to the counter and showed the lady at the counter my receipt and my bag. I wasnt aggressive and was actually trying to make a point that I wasn’t upset about it and that I was in a hurry and would just like to get it quickly and leave. she literally shook her head and laughed, walked over to another girl and murmured something and then pointed back to me, the girl she walked up to came over to me and told me that I was WRONG and that she had bagged it correctly, I did not even know what to say, I had grabbed the bag only a few moments before and then immediately walked back to show them there was no mchicken, another lady came up and told me she was the manager, at first I was relieved until she started accusing me of LYING and told me “I saw what was in that bag I know it was bagged correctly” all I said was that I just wanted the mchicken I had paid and that it clearly wasn’t bagged correctly because the mchicken wasn’t in the bag and the receipt showed I paid for two. then they both walked away and all three of the ladies I had interacted with began pointing at me, laughing, and whispering things to eachother and other staff, I stood there for 8 minutes until they finally gave me the mchicken and I left. Worst customer service experience I have EVER had. I don’t remember the managers name but the was a black lady in her 30s and I honestly think she needs to be fired. The fact that they truly were in the wrong, then accused me of lying, then made me wait 8 minutes for another mchicken when I know it does not take 8 minutes to make one mchicken, and it was NOT busy. AND I WAS BEING POLITE THE ENTIRE TIME, I’m never going there again, I advise everyone I know not to go...
