Firehouse Subs Shops at Battlefield Parkway — Restaurant in Fort Oglethorpe

I place my order. The girl ask if it was going to be dinning or carry out. We said dinning in..The next thing we know the manager kicked us out of the restaurant bc they were closing. HE said that we needed to get our food to go after I told them that my order was wrong! I order a chop ham salad with black olives and small roast beef sandwich. Which I didnt get that bc they were OUT OF BLACK OLIVES! The cashier didnt even know bc nobody told her! The drink machine was also out of every flavor we pick. I told the cashier she said, "she didnt know what was wrong with it" and kept on sweeping the floor. Then when I said EXCUSE ME! THE DRINK MACHINE IS OUT OF EVERYTHING..THATS WHEN THE so call manager decide to come and change out the grape flavor syrup! Needless to say 1st and last time going to this place! The price I paid for this I could've went to Walmart and got everything cheaper. Which the cashier didnt hesitate to ask me if I wanted to round my BILL UP TO HELP THE FIRST RESPONDERS! BUT SHE could help with the drink machine and basically we got kicked out of the restaurant! After the experience I wouldn't...

Walked in around 6PM, noticed people waiting, a lot of people, hmmmm. Ok. Shoulda taken a queue from that! Ordered quick enough, single sandwich to go, then waited... and waited... and u guessed it, waited... 15 min l8r the first customer that I noticed got their meager bag of food, ok now we hoppin! Or not. Another 10 min another customer got theirs. I notice I'm still maybe 5th in line to receive mine... oh boy... I gotta be somewhere in 30 min! Then DoorDash arrives, their order took precedent... then next customer... then UberEats... and in the meantime, several new customers have made their orders! I shoulda told them b4 they paid but was thinking it might get better. I finally got my meal 50 min after I ordered. I waited almost an hour for a typical hook&ladder sandwich. They had 3 people but it appeared only ONE was doing all the cooking. I felt sorry for him, he was doing everything, taking orders, cooking, packing. 2 others were mostly "looking busy", but not doing much. I didn't have time to eat my sandwich but saved it for later. Bad bad experience at this...

I'll start off by saying I like everything about this place. The fact that I can round up here to support my local first responders and they show proof of this help. The food is fantastic the best sandwich place in terms of quality. The prices and options are fair many sizes to choose from and many things to use as substitute if you would prefer. The service is fantastic fast friendly and always on the lookout for you. They remember your face if you are a regular and will help clear your table when done. The place is always kept themed and clean never seen it messy and the decor is awesome. Sports are always on the TV, They show the predators games as well for those who have the Duncan app. In general this place is awesome and shows how impressive it is on each visit. I recommend everyone eat hear not just for them but for the community too...
