Dunkin' — Restaurant in Fort Payne

We showed up at 10:26 am on a Sat for drive thru service. We were the only vehicle in line. The girl asked us to wait. We sat for 3 ish mins. Then she came back and said "Welcome to Dunkin." I said "thanks." Then waited some more and I asked her if they were taking orders. She said yes. So we ordered and pulled around. 3 breakfast sandwiches, box of mixed munchkins and a sweet tea. To my surprise there was a car still at the window waiting on their order even after our lengthy stint at the ordering zone. By the time they got their stuff and then we got our stuff it was 10:42! The girl said they were out of every flavor of munchkin except glazed chocolate and made the decision to hand me 25 of the same munchkin! I think they had gotten a large party inside the store prior to our arrival, but 16 mins to serve a drive thru customer is unacceptable. Didnt even offer an explanation or apology. Worst dunkin...

These donuts are apparently shipped there early in the mornings because apparently they do not have a kitchen there, where they are being made freshly and you do not smell any freshly baking going on there... but by the time I got mine order at lunch time they were dry and stale. They were being stored under a plastic covered wrap before being put in the display case. this is the second DD that I've been to that let me down, the first one was in Tullahoma Tennessee. And I thought I would give them a second chance to redeem there selves, but the second chance made no difference... I'd rather go to the other donut place just right down the road from them and get my order next time. Or go to Gadsden to Krispy kremes where they are made on site hot and fresh daily, and get theirs.. they never let me down. Fort Payne store you got to do better than this, for me to change my review and score...

So I’m only giving two stars because I love the drink I get here. SO on Thursday I came through with a decent sized mobile order and they didn’t give me the donut in the order and gave me the wrong kind of muffin. I called and talked to the night manager who was amazing and said they would fix it. So I did another mobile order today and explained to them they owed me a donut and a blueberry muffin as they gave me the incorrect kind on Thursday and BOY let me tell you the attitude I got was wild. They refunded me for the muffin which is cool but the attitude from the workers was so wild. The girl in the drive thru said “well we can’t help what we run out of” and I’m like girl you just plain got it wrong and the man was shaking his head all crazy at me like I’m the problem. I see why the reviews here are bad…after only a month or so of being here in town....
