Atmosphere was not great. Typical hamburger bar with uncomfortable chairs and a table that rocked and was strangely a little too high. I know that's being picky, but there is a theme to this. On a Masters Sunday they had the Golf Channel up on the monitors, but the Golf Channel didn't own the coverage of the Masters. So instead, there was a golf lesson on. That's a little tone deaf. Service was inadequate. The service was slow. I'm not sure why a hamburger takes that much time. No utensils brought to the table without asking. Food was poor and sent me to the bathroom 15 minutes after leaving. The hamburgers, and the restaurant is named after them mind you, were a lump of meat that reminded me of pre-formed frozen burgers that come in a box. My wife's burger was apparently okay taste wise, but mine came barely over room temperature. The same was true of my mac and cheese which was not only barely warm, but runny. How does cheesy mac and cheese get runny when it is barely warm? I don't know, but shame on me for not sending my food back for not being hot. I suspect my food was prepared and sitting for a bit. Either way, after leaving the restaurant, fifteen minutes later I got gut cramps and needed to find a bathroom with urgency. Summary: My wife and I were from out of town and hoped to find a local restaurant in town that would be fun to try as an alternative to a chain. We left wishing that we had stopped for fast food instead. It would have been cheaper, faster, and predictable. Would we ever eat here again?...

Tuesday 8/20/24 I'm still enjoying their delicious burgers. I asked if they plan to create a handicap parking spot & the business owner said she would ask the building owner.

Tuesday 6/6/23 This was my 2nd time dining in, since my take-out order. Both times were really good.

Live entertainment on Friday (my 1st time dining in here) & Saturday night.

Positives: I had the three cheese burger with salt fries both times. I'm not a big fan of fries but these deserve special mention. Really good! Besides salted fries, they also have garlic parmesan, dill pickle, Cajun & seasoned salt.

The burger was huge. It was at least 1/2 pound, cooked a perfect med/med well both times and had a great flavor.

The staff is friendly, speedy & checked back at frequent intervals.

The cleanliness was above average.

Detractors:

  1. On my 2nd visit (today), the sweet tea was not. It had barely a hint of sweetness.

  2. The men's room is tiny. I barely fit in it & am guessing wheelchairs would have a tough time of it, if it is even possible.

Previous Visit Ordered a burger & fries to-go. I will give a more detailed, balanced review after my next trip. It...

Ate at Little River Burgers and Brews for the first time, and for me to write a review about a hamburger, is hilarious since I am not typically a burger person. I wanted to try a burger to see if they could sway me, and they succeeded!

First, the burger I ordered was fresh, juicy, and exactly as I ordered (toppings were spot on what I ordered) and the onion rings were so crispy and tasty. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and very sweet.

The wait time for our food was a bit long - BUT - this is a MADE TO ORDER restaurant, meaning, FRESHLY MADE PATTIES vs frozen perfectly round patty. That can take time, and we were aware of this prior to coming, so it didn't bother us at all. If we wanted 'fast food' we would have driven through one of the questionable alternatives in the area. But for us, the burgers were worth the wait.

The inside is casual, clean and funky (in a historical building) which made it relaxing and a nice place to enjoy our lunch. Parking was easy and accessible. All in all, we found our hamburger 'go to' in Fort Payne, and will...

After reading reviews of places to eat in the area of Fort Payne, this was one of three choices we made. Baylee was our server at the bar & she was helpful with info about the area. A live band was playing on our Saturday evening, which was an added bonus. They played a variety of music that wasn't too loud at all considering it was being played inside & we were still able to have a normal conversation. We ordered the Club Sandwich and the Pepper Jelly Burger with a side of Pimento Cheese, both orders with Garlic Parmesan fries & we were pleasantly surprised on how good it all tasted. I recommend eating your portions fresh, as the fries were not good as leftovers the next day. The environment was welcoming & the establishment seemed like the perfect find for a local spot!

This is a small place packing a big punch! And if there's a wait, it's definitely worth it! We stopped by for lunch as we were passing through town, and we were incredibly impressed with the quality of food this place put out! We tried the Fried Pickles, the Hot Lemon Pepper Wings and the Mushroom Burger. Literally, they were all AMAZING! We did have a bit of a wait after ordering, but the place was packed, and with all things considered, the food came out hot and fresh and was definitely worth the wait. We're gonna return next time we pass through the area. We recommend you check them out if you haven't already!

My husband and I tried Little River Burgers and Brew this afternoon. It’s a nice, quaint place in Fort Payne. I had the nachos and my husband had a pizza burger and fries. The nachos were very good and had queso, pico, large chunks of chicken, guacamole, salsa and ranch that they make in house. The burger and fries portions were decent and everything was tasty. They have inside and outside seating. Their menu has a lot of different burgers to choose from and we will be back. I recommend trying if you are in the area.
