Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Fort Payne

Staff are very nice and very patient, honestly a pleasure. I went here for the first time and got a s’mores cold brew and an everything bagel sandwhich. The drink was very good just too sweet for my taste. They added a lot of chocolate, but that’s just a personal preference so it didn’t phase me. The sandwhich was good, it was way more peppery than I expected but I liked it all the better for it! So decided to go a second time. This time I got a large iced vanilla latte with only 3 pumps of vanilla (it comes with five) and a little Carmel drizzle on top, light ice, and an extra shot. But when I got the drink, they shorted me 6oz! They said it was because it was light ice. Simply on principle I won’t be coming back or recommending this place over the small local businesses like The Spot in town. Think about it. The milk they shorted me would have cost about 9 cents. But if I had asked for extra ice, extra shots they wouldn’t have upgrade the size of my cup, they would have just given me less milk. It’s a sleazy practice that even small businesses aren’t greedy enough to do. Not to mention that they neglected to put the drizzle on at all, and the drink came out so sweet that I know for a fact they didn’t just out 3 pumps of vanilla in it. But the drink being made wrong wouldn’t have really bothered me too much. It’s the concept of shorting the drink as a passive aggressive penny saver for large corporations. Eh. I’ll stick with small business owners. Anyhow, hope my review helps...

Scooter’s Coffee Review – Disappointing Experience

I recently visited Scooter’s Coffee and ordered a Caramel Cold Brew with protein cold foam and a shot of espresso. What I got was a caramelicious cold brew with no espresso, 90% cold foam, and barely any coffee. The drink was overwhelmingly sweet and unbalanced, making it completely undrinkable.

My husband ordered a Cold Brew with Caramel and Cream, which turned out to be watery and overly sugary..not what you expect from a cold brew.

For both drinks, the total came to $15, which made the experience even more frustrating. I don’t mind paying for quality coffee, but this was a $15 mistake that I won’t be making again.

The staff was okay—not rude, but not particularly friendly either. Overall, I was really disappointed. If you enjoy coffee that actually tastes like coffee rather than pure sugar, I’d suggest...

Well I originally did leave a 5 star review as the coffee and food here are great and the last few times I have been around the staff were amazing until today when me and my boyfriend came through and placed our order. While waiting at the window for our drinks, someone from the back of the store recognized my boyfriend and decided it would hilarious to scream his name several times in attempt to make fun of and embarrass him until one of the other staff members stopped him. The girl at the window was practically laughing at my boyfriends face as she apologized for the other boys' behavior. I find this behavior incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate and find it appalling that we were treated in such a way by the staff, and I hope that the staff and this situation will be corrected...
