Boozgeois Saloon — Restaurant in Fort Pierce

This was my first time going to this bar, and I had a horrible experience. I’ve never been treated so poorly before. The incident that occurred on March 24, 2025, around 11:00 p.m. made my stomach turn. I don’t know the bartender’s name, but he was very rude and nasty. I had just gotten off work and wanted to grab a drink (a shot, really). I’m not stupid; I look extremely young since I’m 21 years old. I came into the bar ready with my ID, so the bartender wouldn’t have to ask for it, but I didn’t have it in my hand—I had it on my forehead, clearly showing that I’m young and legal. He asked me what that was, referring to the ID on my forehead, and I replied that I’m young and was pretty sure he would ID me. He got offended because I had my ID on my forehead, claiming I was mocking the bar for ID-ing people. He yelled at me and my friend, telling us to leave.

My friend was confused by the situation and tried to explain that we weren’t making fun of the bar, but the bartender continued to yell and didn’t listen, insisting that we leave. I got up from my seat while my friend was still talking to him. Not long after, he asked to see my ID. I handed it to him, but then he refused to give it back, took a picture of it, and called the cops, claiming that my friend and I weren’t trying to leave when he asked. But I wasn’t leaving without my ID. Once he realized he couldn’t hold onto my ID, he returned it to me and then harassed my friend and me all the way out to our car.

I would never go back there again. I have never experienced anything like that, and I work in the customer service industry—this is not acceptable. This bar will lose a lot of business if they...

I usually go to this Bar on Fridays after work and I never had an issue here. Usually Kyla is always at the bar and she is awesome to me and everyone there. Yesterday I went to the bar and I don’t know the this bartender’s name but she was on the shift of Saturday 11/16/24 at 4:40pm the one with Tattoos and piercings. She asked me for my ID I’m 28 years old and she gave me a hard time over my ID saying that it was Fake all loud (in the conditions that she was) then I asked her why is fake and she start saying that is wrong because the numbers I told her that’s not a Drivers License that’s and Identification Card she still didn’t wanted to sell me a beer and being rude until i proved her she was wrong then she would keep being rude to me after i proved her she was wrong. Definitely she shouldn’t be working in the conditions that she was. On top of that she said that in the 22 years of bartending never seen a Identficantion card. So basically you guys have a tipsy inexperienced Bartender.💁🏽‍♂️ This is an unacceptable experience she made me feel really uncomfortable I was just trying to have a beer and relax after work but definitely I had a worse time there with her than at my job.
