Pueblo Viejo Fort Pierce — Restaurant in Fort Pierce

My husband my friend and i went here last night and i have always liked coming here. Last night we walk in with 3 adult and a child. They go and seat us in a booth which is fine. But the lights were off above our table. So the guy comes to the table to greet us and i said were sitting in the dark here could you please turn some lights on he was like ok no problem so he gets our drinks still no lights. Ok he comes back. With chips and salsa. Still no lights. I mentioned again about it he was like oh yeah im sorry let me get them. We sat there at least 15 to 20 min with out lights. So he brings our food . we ordered two of the pueblo platters. We were all going to share both of them and the kid who is 2 yrs old could eat off it too. Ok brings our food. With no plates for us to eat off of and no silverware. Ok as im getting even more aggrevated. Finally he turns the lights on and we are still waiting on plates and silverware. 5 mins of our food sitting there. He finally bring 2 small plates then 1 smaller plate for like the kid . there is 3 adults and one kid so what is the other adult supose to eat off of. Ok so we just said forgot it about the plates. By then are food was half cold. So we eat and the guy who waited on us. Never came over and asked us. Was everything ok do we need anything. So we get done eating and he comes over asking if we were ok. I am thinking to myself well its a little to late for that buddy. So we tell him yes and he tales the plates and we just sit there for another 10 mins or so waiting on the check. Very poor service i have never been here and it be like this. Im sorry but no tip for him. I tip my waiters on how well the tale care of us . and theis young guy didnt seem to care .wont be back here for a while it has really went down. On a saturday night and it wasnt packed i could undestand if the guy had a bunch of tables...

Viena (shift supervisor) is wonderful, the great, friendly and welcoming experience she provides is outstanding. As for the restaurant's staff overall, I cannot say anything less about them, they are good too, it is just that Viena stands out (as well as a gentleman whom I don't know his name) because it is she who usually serves me. Last night for the first time I was unhappy about something (and it was not Viena who did it nor the gentleman I mentioned), but by the time I called to let Viena know what happened it was too late and she was already gone, so I asked for the manager's name (Miguel) so I could call him today and take the opportunity to inform him of my unfavorable experience last night (which after speaking with him, he corrected the issue immediately without hesitation) but moreso to highlight his great staff. I have been to every Puelo Viejo in SLC and by far Fort Pierce's management and staff are the most inviting. That gentleman that I said is really good like Viena and I feel he is worth mentioning by name for his great service, so I will find out and update this review because the two of them are worth requesting when visiting, especially if you are from out of town and want to assure yourself of a wonderful experience. I love this restaurant. My faveeeeee ADDITION. August 23. 2022. Had a terrible dinner. The food came one plate at a time. Had to ask for the utensils as the food got cold. When my food arrived I had ordered a ribeye steak. When it arrived. I called the waiter and asked where the steak was and she replied that the piece of meat on the plate that appeared to be a piece of strip stake. Was indeed a rib eye. She said that it didn't look like a rib eye .she takes the steak back to the kitchen and returned with the same steak. That has not been flayed and now says heare is your rib eye. I asked for the manager. Waited for another ten minutes. To be told he was not there. And I ask for his phone contact. They gave the restaurants phone number saying call and if he is there ne will answer I paid the bill for the other meals and went to McDonald's got a burger and went home. No way to contact anyone when there is a problem. Mr Rodriguez. Actions like this will have your operations with for sale signed on the property. Could not happen fast enough. To bad this place...
