Sad to say, but I have to agree with the bought reviews. This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. There is not one bit of evidence of any ingredients used in Chinese cuisine such as oyster sauce, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, ginger etc... The Peking Dumplings were nothing more than frozen pot stickers (probably from the grocery store next door bought on a bogo), not even close to the real deal. Boneless spareribs were chunks of fat sliced to look like pork ends, and covered in a cornstarch gelled sauce colored with red food dye to mimic Chinese BBQ sauce which had no flavor whatsoever. The egg rolls and spring rolls were burnt beyond recognition and as the dumplings, mimicked a store bought item from the frozen food section. The pork fried rice was nothing more than yellow rice with a few peas and carrots floating around. If you paid me, I couldn't fine a piece or pork anywhere in the rice. Again, no flavor whatsoever and not even close to Chinese style fried rice typically made with oyster sauce, garlic, sesame oil, egg and other ingredients. The triple delight was far from the name, "delight"! A pile of under cooked vegetables with chunks of water chestnut, a single shrimp, some chicken and 3 slices of what I think was beef covered in a brown sauce of some type with no flavor at all. It looked like cornstarch sauce colored with kitchen bouquet. Lastly, the Chicken Mei Fun was not fun at all. A bowl of white noodles with no flavor, no sauce and not much chicken for the price. In all, I wouldn't go back here on a free meal. If you're going to advertise and attempt to cook Chinese style cuisine, then make an attempt to do so by using the proper ingredients and hiring a chef with knowledge...
Read moreLet me start by saying the reason there is so many 5 star reviews is not because the food is good but because they essentially buy the reviews for free egg rolls. My review is honest and not bought. I don't like they they are either cheap or lazy to make fried rice so they use yellow rice so they don't have to use soy sauce. It makes for blan rice so I would say the rice is a 5 out of 10. The bourbon chicken isn't bourbon. It's too red and sweat and pretty sure it's made with cherry sauce that isn't how bourbon sauce is made that's how sweet and sour sauce is made. Pretty sure the chicken also isn't chicken and it's duck because duck is tougher and chicken is more tender. I would give the bourbon chicken a 3 out of 10. The pepper steak was blan so I would say 4 out of 10. Both egg rolls, the regular and the cheese steak were overcooked on the outside but the inside was undercooked and doughy. The regular egg rolls was just vegetables and didn't taste good i had to throw it away 1 out of 10 and the cheese steak egg rolls tasted ok but like I said was undercooked so I would say 8 out of 10. The price was average you will spend about $12 to $15 a person. They appeared friendly but when using a credit card they don't have you sign anything so get a receipt in case any problems with the bank. Let me add i came 8 miles off the highway because the reviews were good and if I knew the reviews were fake so people could get a cheese steak egg roll i wouldn't have wasted my time or money and...
Read moreYou can tell this place is popular, and for good reason! I ate my food there because I ducked in to take a break and get out of the heat while getting my Chinese food fix. While I was waiting for my food and eating there were tons of people coming in to pick up orders, calling, and I could hear every time there was a new online order placed. It was A LOT. They still managed to get my food ready quickly for my walk in order. The woman working at the front counter was friendly and polite and the food was really good. I got the General Tso's Chicken combo. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was the best I've had in a long time! So many places have a General Tso's sauce that's goopy and too sweet, which I hate. This was nothing like that. It was thick enough to nicely coat the chicken, but not too much. It also had a lovely tanginess to it, with just enough heat for me. I like things very lightly spicy though, so this is obviously a matter of opinion. The fried rice was not too greasy, as friend rice can be sometimes, and the veggies in it still had life and flavor to them. Perfectly cooked I think. The egg roll was good, but nothing exciting. Overall the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. If I wasn't leaving town in a few days, I would...
