Importico's Bakery Cafe Fort Pierce — Restaurant in Fort Pierce

After coming to this establishment since the day they opened 2 years ago, today will be my absolute last time spending my money here nor will I give any more reviews on IG or my Google account.

I do understand all businesses have the right to set their own rules all together especially with pets.

My only issue is I didn’t get 1 second to even read the no pet policy. I literally just opened the door and was told I’m not allowed to come in because no pets are allowed.

It would’ve be nice if I was greeted with a hello 1st and then at least given a chance to see and read the no let policy sign.

I tried to call in to get directions on where the signs are posted however the supervisor wasn’t very nice or helpful towards me as a customer. It was more so trying to prove I’m in the wrong and that I don’t understand…

I have no problem with the policy I just only asked for a chance to read it and I wasn’t given an opportunity to do so.

This experience has made me very uncomfortable at this point. I really do love the pastries here but I work too hard for my money and I shouldn’t have to question the treatment or attitude from the employees.

I love this bakery. Almost every Saturday when I go to the Farmers Market, I swing by their bakery tent and get their Ham & Cheese Croissant. It’s the best thing I have EVER put in my mouth. Once I found out that they had an actual bakery in the same area, I was obsessed. It’s good on Saturday cold from the tent and it’s good during the week warmed up in the bakery. The only catch is that it sells out in the mornings in the bakery so you have to be an early riser. You have a better chance getting a croissant Saturday mornings at the bakery tent. It’s located all the way at the end, towards the boat docks. I think his name is Zach, he is the most gorgeous, nicest, and efficient ever. I love it!! I met a colleague here for a casual business chat over some food, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed - perfect for conversation - but what really stood out was the service.

Alexis, who was working during our visit, was incredibly sweet and gracious. Unbeknownst to us, the café had actually closed while we were still sitting and talking. Alexis didn’t say a word or rush us out - she just quietly went about cleaning, giving us the space to finish our discussion without interruption. I genuinely felt bad when I realized we had stayed past closing, but her kindness and professionalism didn’t go unnoticed.
