Wendy's — Restaurant in Fort Pierce

We went through drive thru and waited over 40 minutes to Give our of 2 fish combos. Once our order was taken we proceed to the pay which the poor young lady was taking the cash for our order and then putting the order together. By the time we received our order the food was cold and my husband didn't want to let them know about it because we had already waited too long to receive our order and he didn't want to wait again. We threw the fries away and the fish was refried to heat it up. It was hard to the point that I didn't want it but husband was hungry so just cut the hard edges off to eat it. To make this story short the cashier needed help and the manager didn't seem like she knew how to run the place and she didn't have enough staff on to run the place properly. The cashier for the inside didn't have many customers so when he wasn't busy up front he should have been able to help her with her orders to make it a little bit easier and to get the outside line moving a little better. BREAKFAST.....OMG! I read some reviews from various sites from people who had tasted Wendy's breakfast when they sold it years ago(i never knew). The majority were very good reviews, so I couldn't wait to try it. Unfortunately....the Honey Butter Chicken sandwich is SO GOOD, I have not tried anything else yet. I have had it four times and each time it is SUPER FFRESH it's moist and just DELICIOUS. I tried the breakfast wedges and they are seasoned well and good. I'm not a big ice coffee fan but I did try the frosty-chino and it was really good. Another UNFORTUNATE thing.....the calories.....UGHHHH THIs breakfast is definitely not something I can eat all the time, as I ate my first honey butter chicken sandwich, I said it would be my last. They hire way too many young kids that talk and play around entirely too much. So much that theyre goofing around and not working. I was in here today on a Sunday afternoon and it took 42 minutes from standing in line to them handing me my baked potato. All you have to do is bake the potato and cut it and slap some cheese on it... I predicted some weight since its around lunch time but they only had one very sweet cashier (only person that seemed to be working) that was working and everyone including the young blonde manager was goofing around. The girl working the grill i believe was talking about how she wanted to go home... You shouldnt talk like that. If you want to go home, leave and give someone else a job that actually wants it and doesnt play around all shift. I dont like to leave negative reviews but they really need better management here...
