Denny's — Restaurant in Fort Smith

Ive gone here 3 times in the past month to eat and waiting for anyone to come to my table no one even spoke to me in my 20 minutes setting inside your Dennys Restaurant dinning room, so ive even gotten up and Stood by the cash register for them to see me and have been told find a set and someone will eventually be with you . And let me tell you its not because they are so incredibly busy that they can't wait on me there to busy talking and messing around with each other or talking on there phones . The days ive been there there's been 3 to 4 waitresses all in the same dinning room. Thay look my way i even asked if I needed to come over to that dinning room to the right side I have set in the dinning room to the left of front doors I was finally to it didn't matter where I set . But quite frankly I haven't gotten waited on so after 20 minutes and talking to them and them knowing im there and waiting for 10 more minutes I got up and left they never said anything to me never came out of the one area of your Dennys Restaurant , if you don't get a better management and staff that will work hard and wait on all your customers your going to do as others have had to do and close due to lack of business and its not just me thats had this issue been ive been talking with my church group and folks a my work you staff members are not doing there best job to take care of your business nor your customers this is bad business decisions and management and it doesn't matter the ages of your staff members they are not doing there jobs of keeping your business alive nor your customers waited on in Fort Smith Arkansas. I hope your will be planning to send someone to do some Random checks of Fort Smith Denny's on Rogers Ave. Because im 63 years old and when I was a little child my Moma worked for Dennys Restaurant in California and i remember that she wore your cute little brown and white checked Hat an a pretty little Apron that matched she was so proud of her job took pride in it all she washed and ironed them both daily to be able to be the best she could to represent Dennys as a fine dinning Restaurant . So I have tryed to visit Dennys Restaurant a few times each year im 63 years old and what im seeing in 2024 at Dennys Restaurant is a disaster and a disgrace so im sure maybe you have no been aware of this Particular issue in Fort Smith Arkansas so im trying to let you know ive given them ample opportunity to do there jobs ive tryed to fine in at Dennys Restaurant but haven't been able to get waited upon i don't have time to waste on folks that don't want to do the jobs of waiting tables and taking food orders and feeding your customers in a pleasant and...

Called & placed a to-go order we live 30 minutes away I ordered biscuit & gravy & a waffle. Got to the restaurant and my husband decided he wanted biscuit & gravy & a waffle so I asked them to add another order. I went to pay they said I had to pay separately (which we didn't understand why they couldn't just add his order onto mine since I hadn't paid just yet) so I paid for mine with my debit then I went to pay for his order with my debit card the machine wouldn't work kept saying my card was declined the manager goes over there and tells me it's because I have the same order that cost the same paying with my card twice he would have to add an extra 5 cents to it to make my card work which he did and it worked (which I didn't appreciate an extra $0.05 getting added to my total cost I know it's just five cents but still that's not the point doesn't matter if it's 5 cents or 500)honestly think he should have subtracted 5 cents instead of add 5 cents. Got home with the food the gravy with soured and the waffles were rock hard. Try calling the restaurant to tell them about it and the recording was saying they were closed (it's open 24 hours )(also it's 1:30 ish in the morning) so we drove back up there from our house and complained the manager did replace our orders with burgers and fries he apologized and said they tasted the gravy it was spoiled. We felt nervous about ordering something else to eat what I asked him if it was going to be fresh he reassured me it would be what's the burgers and fries was fresh.Honestly he should have refunded my money and offer free food. We were starving and spent 2 hours worth of driving time 30 minutes there 30 minutes back then another 30 to go back up there then another 30 to come back home. If the phone would have been working and not saying they were closed I would have just called and complained and asked to come back during the day and just cooked at home instead of driving late in the hours of the night back and forth back and forth so that was very frustrating I couldn't even call to make a complaint I had to get back out. We most definitely had a poor experience with Denny's and feel really disappointed that we chose to drive 30 minutes one way to Denny's instead of driving 5 minutes to waffle House. I really hope the owner reads this and finds out why his store is serving s Spoiled food, hard waffles ,charging extra money and why the phone recording is saying they are closed when they are clearly...

Oh mann, 12-1am is a horrible time to go. When my fiance and I came in the first time, there was 1 door dasher waiting, a couple, and then us. The waitress looked stressed and in a horrible mood and avoided the line (would look over at us while she was running around, but never said anything to any of us). After a little bit what looked like the manager, came to the register and took care of the togo person. Then she told the couple in front of us that she's only doing Togo and the other girl was seating people. Then she looked us up and down and didn't say anything. The couple walked up to the other girl and she said, you can sit down (threw her hands up in the air and gestured around) but i havent had time to clean any of the tables so it might be dirty. About that time one of the customers sitting at a table of 3 right in front of the register comes over and tells the lady who looks like the manager that they put their order in a long time ago and the were just wondering about their food. She hollered over to the other girl and repeated what they had said. It looked like she shut down, but responded, I never took their order. She kept running around, never said anything to the customer. The other lady never responded either, she just walked away. They were so upset, he went and sat down and they talked amongst themselves and decided to leave. We decided to go to ihop. As we turned to walk out the door we see the waitress plop down on a booth in the corner of the room. Defeated. I'm a server myself right now so I understand being short staffed and running crazy like that with no help. I felt bad that her manager wasn't helping at all. We came back because ihop was on an hour wait. The waitress saw us and looked so upset that we were back. We waited for a little bit with her looking at us as she passed, running around like before. We noticed the couple that was ahead of us before we're gone and the table with 6 people was empty too. Other than that only 2 people had been added and we said to eachother, okay, the atmosphere felt calmer. After a while she stopped and said it'll be about a 20 minute wait, I haven't had time to clean any of the tables so it'll be dirty if you wanna seat now. We decided to go to bensons. Everything was dirty and full there too, but the waitress said hold on, let me clean a table for you. Cleaned it, sat us.
