Eunice's Country Cookin' — Restaurant in Fort Smith

I'm from Oklahoma came to Arkansas with my cousin and her fiance to get married the pastor that married them referred us to this place we were stuck between this place and Texas Roadhouse ias they are backdoor neighbors. so we chose Eunice's,hats off to this place the food was terrific all of us had a happy plate the dessert was off the shelf that means it was good our compliments to the chef and also to our waitress we loved this place you cannot go wrong eating here we are a black family, so of course I chose one of the menu items called soul plate,It was so so good so we made it back to Oklahoma after visiting the casinos along the way we got home probably about 10:30 11:00 my husband was still raving about that place he loved it. so to the owner you're doing a good job if ever I'm in fort Smith again I will definitely be back to Eunice's country cookin.may God continue to bless you and...

The food feels like a hit and miss. I got the sampler with meatloaf, roastbeef, and goulash with three sides. Meatloaf was actually good, roastbeef needed salt and the noodles in the goulash were overdone. The side salad looked like it came out of a bag from the produce section at a store and the other two sides were fine (mashed potatoes and turnip greens). The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and the waitress was very friendly. I didn't try the dessert. I feel like they close too soon because it was 2 o'clock and the place was empty. This place has a cool atmosphere and good food. The smell reminds you of your old school cafeteria when they use to bake the rolls. That’s exactly what you get, they Plankton’d the recipe from the local schools or something cause it brings you back to your youth days with the first bite.
