Firehouse Subs Ft. Smith — Restaurant in Fort Smith

Firehouse subs is my favorite sub place. But this one IS AWFUL! Everytime I go here they are super rude to me and frequently get my order wrong to-boot. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back for me though. I placed a relatively small sub order to be picked up for 4:45. I got there at 4:41 and I had about 3 or 4 employees (maybe the same people?) walked by the window and ignore me. One guy sat there the entire time with the window closed watching videos on their phone. At 4:44 someone came to the window, and in a very condescending tone, told me "well since you came SO early we'll get started on that soon." I was so confused because my order was supposed to BE READY within one minute and they hadn't even started on it yet? I was very late to where I needed to go, and both sandwiches were wrong as well :( I called later to talk to them about it to see if there was a better way to order ahead than on the app and they told me "there's nothing else they possibly could have done." My order wasn't actually ready until 5:08. This is 23 minutes late and they said that was their best work. I told them I probably couldn't come back anytime I had anywhere to be and they said "thank GOD, we hate customers like you." lol, I'm just at a loss for words with this right now. Its a sub sandwich place, so what could go wrong? Inside the store was clean from what we observed. We gave our order to the lady at the window counter, because one of the guys said he had just clocked out so the closer register couldn't be used. While trying to give my order to the lady across the way two male employees, one of which said he was clocked out, stayed and chit chatted in the middle of us trying to give our order. When giving our order without being prompted I said the kind of bread, sandwich, and what size. After giving all of this information, I was re asked. Normally I wouldn't see issue, but she wasn't reading the order back as if she listened the first time. When finished giving our order we were told a total only. The drinks were not great, mostly water flavor. When receiving our order the sizes were wrong, the lady goes back to have them fixed. Comes back out to say we were not charged for what we asked for and that we would have to be charged more for it to be remade. Over $30 is what we already paid for 2 sandwiches and drinks. Can’t believe how HORRIBLE this location is. I often will pick up here to pick up 8 subs for my team. They are always late and always say I’m “early”. If I’m early then why are my subs 23 minutes late? I called after my meeting(that I was 10 minutes late to because of them) and asked to speak with a manager. He said, we can’t even drop the mean until 10 minutes before you get here. Once again, my order was 23 minutes late? I asked if there was even a point to order on the app if it won’t be ready near pick up time. He said “I can’t drop the mean until 10 minutes before your order is due. What do you not understand?” After this I am fed up and just said that I wouldn’t be returning to the establishment. This manager is HORRIBLE and definitely does not know how to run a business. This place used to be so good and I cater to this place multiple times a month on top of personally going. I guess I will be switching to Jersey mikes?
