I just went through here. I've never stopped to eat even though I go through MSP regularly. The self ordering thing is kinda weird. and when i thought i was done, i was waiting for someone to come by with a bill and the guy told me i had to do it by logging into the qrcode link again. I almost walked out of there thinking I had somehow paid because the website was done with me. I'm pretty sure other people left without paying as i was going in because i overheard staff pointing out a group that had just walked out. This self service phone system is garbage and it's all in an effort to cut labour costs and staffing.
My food was good, it came quickly, i was in, done and out in under 35 minutes. There was a guy working near me and he was very helpful and friendly. He told me how the place worked (i obviously looked clueless), he brought my food and drinks, checked on me, and told me about the going back in the website to pay when i was obviously done. His help and advice was all unprompted, he understands the job. He is an older black gentleman, maybe 50-60 yrs old? I was there in some time in the afternoon. Anyways, he deserves a raise.
I took a quick flip through the low 1 star ratings and i didn't get some of them at all. Those who said nobody greeted them at the entrance...there's a sign saying you can seat yourself although i'll admit the design of the entrance makes it look like someone will take...
Read moreThis is my first time landing in this Airport and headed towards this establishment as i have had a great experience in other locations. As soon as you approach there is a sign informing you to wait to be seated. I stood there for 10 minutes prior to becoming acknowledged. Once seated (with server attitude) i was shown the qr code to proceed with my order. BEWARE, Prior to entering the establishment there is a sign with small print indicating that you will automatically be charged 4,5% as some tourism fee, and this has nothing to do with gratuity. Once i placed my order the turnaround time was average. During this time i observed three single individuals and two families obeying the "Wait to be seated sign". This is where it get's interesting as there was never any eye contact or even communication from the servers or bar tender as he would be the first point of contact, ALL individuals turned around and moved on to the competition. If this was my establishment or even if i had invested interest at least 3 individuals from todays experience would of been automatically terminated!! Re- training of the staff members should be #1 priority. Crusty servers must go, a smile...
Read moreThis has got to be the worst service I have ever experienced. When we arrived the host asked how many people. There was 5 of us. She then grabbed a spray bottle and a cloth and walked away. We just assumed she had to clean a table. She returned and said this way and grabbed her spray bottle and cloth and said " taking this because I don't wanna talk to anyone else tonight". She sat us, walked away and there we sat. Not a single employee came over and spoke to us. Apparently you have to order on the qr code which we didn't know because no one spoke to us. After figuring it out and placing our order, we had to flag down someone to ask for water. 2 of our group order drinks and only 1 received it. After eating our appetizer, the other lady mentioned it to a server lady to just take it off the bill. Our food arrived and it was hot and actually pretty good. But, we never saw a server after bringing us our food. There was no prebussing and after we paid, we sat at a dirty table for about 10 mins before leaving. As a chain restaurant, I assume you have training that your employees must complete. If not, I would highly recommend it for this...
