Adventure North — Local services in Fort Snelling Unorganized Territory

WORST service experience in YEARS! Stopped in to purchase an insulated water bottle a short time ago - after making a selection, I proceeded to the register and was rung up by the most unpleasant clerk; no greeting, no smile, she acted as if I was bothering her. She rang up the item, I completed the payment, was not offered a bag (didn't need one, but it's a general retail courtesy to offer) - and the clincher was when I asked for the receipt, I was instructed to grab it myself from the register, as the clerk had returned to her post of holding up the far cash wrap counter. Stunned, I left and offered a flippant, "Don't work too hard" comment to her on my way out. Two minutes later, I returned to the store to return my $50 purchase, unwilling to support a business that provides such poor service.

Adventure North management: I encourage you to review the customer service training this employee (image enclosed - I would have listed her by name if her name badge was visible) received, as well as to observe her interactions with customers. I doubt that I am the first patron that has received this level of poor service, and left unaddressed, I will not be the last...and your sales and reputation will suffer. Thank you in...

I feel like this shop has everything and the staff is super helpful with your requests. One thing to keep in mind that it gets a wee bit crowded every now and then due to it being in the main strip of the MSP airport, but still a great place...

The guy behind the register was offering a discount in exchange for customers putting him on their shoulders. It was weird and myself and other customers felt uncomfortable when he kept asking.
