Stone Arch is located right after clearing security at the MSP airport. Super handy if your flight departs from the F or G concourses. It offers a wide variety of tables and seating - everything from bar stools to tables and booths. It has a peaceful vibe even when it is busy. I had breakfast here today. The Egg and Bacon sandwich with hash browns was excellent. The bacon was crisp and so flavorful. The eggs were done perfectly. The white cheddar, arugula, sauce, and English muffin worked magic together. One of the best Egg sandwiches I’ve had. Price point was great for airport cuisine. My partner got the avocado sandwich and gives it 5 out of 5 stars. She expected thicker sliced bread, but the portion turned out to be perfect. Our server was friendly and attentive even though it was quite busy. We had a great experience (though one of the guys cleaning tables when we arrived seemed to be in a snippy mood). Feeling like getting a full Minnesota experience? They offer fried Spam as a meat option on several items. I almost tried it. Almost. I will stop by again! PREVIOUS REVIEW (Still true) I got the walleye sandwich. It was excellent - way better than I expected from an airport restaurant. It was as good as walleye I’ve enjoyed up on Minnesota’s north shore. I highly recommend it. Ask for an extra side of tartar sauce as it is also very good - tastes great on the sandwich and on french fries. Their fries are perfectly cooked as well. I also found their ice tea freshly made. Easy listening pop music overhead drowns out the bustle of the airport. If you’re looking for a place to grab a bite, I highly recommend the Stone Arch (named after the famous Stone Arch Bridge that crosses the Mississippi in Minneapolis).

The atmosphere is great but because it's crazy busy and a seat yourself establishment, it takes what feels like an eternity to get your drinks. In reality it was only 15 minutes, but when you have a plane to catch...... It then took another 20 minutes to place our order. At this point I was starting to panic as our nice two hour buffer was dwindling. FAST. The cheese curds were overcooked and all melted together. They forgot to bring the house sauce on the side and we couldn't even get the waitresses attention to bring it. The food came out properly which was amazing. I ordered the stone arch burger, well done. It wasn't well done but I didn't have time to get it remade so 🫠. It also comes with sooooo many onions that it's unreal and hardly any cheese. The patty was tasteful but they served it in a round metal tin making it impossible to cut it in half to check for the doneness. Some would call it juicy. Others would say greasy. I will tell you the taste was actually really good. Hobby ordered the walleye burger and said it tasted really good. For a path to 5 stars: More attentive servers, possibly more since you were so busy. We literally had to stand by our table to wait for it to be cleaned so we could sit down. Offer tea as a drink option. I can't drink carbonated drinks and I don't drink alcohol lol Editing bc they asked if I spoke with a manager. We could barely get the attention of our server and die to how long everything took we were pressed to get to our plane because I wasn't going to miss a flight. 🫠🤷🏻‍♀️ Also.... They add a service charge to make sure their employees are cared for 🤣🫠

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Captain Reviewer speaking, and today we're soaring into the culinary skies at the Stone Arch restaurant in the Minneapolis International Airport near Terminal F. After breezing through security check, Stone Arch is the first beacon you encounter. It's like the control tower of Terminal F, welcoming you with open arms. As you taxi to your table, you'll notice there's no hostess to guide you to your runway. You seat yourself, just like a pilot taking control of their own flight path. The restaurant's ambiance is as spacious as a hangar dedicated to a jumbo jet. You won't feel cramped in here; there's ample space to stretch your wings. Now, here comes the turbulence: Imagine my disappointment when I found out they no longer carry the Axe Man IPA. That's the reason I had to circle back. It's like showing up for a flight only to find out your aircraft's been changed. The burger presentation was as fancy as a flight deck. It arrived on a sleek slate, looking more like gourmet art than a meal. An aesthetically pleasing takeoff, indeed. Service was smooth, considering they were clearly slammed, but there were a few delays, like waiting for clearance to take off. However, the flight crew did their best to keep us on track. All in all, Stone Arch is a solid place to land for a meal, but I really wish they had that Axe Man back in stock. It's like missing out on the best in-flight entertainment – a minor disappointment in an otherwise pleasant journey.

I ate here today on my way out of town, and was served a burger with avocado on it after specifically mentioning to the server that I had a food allergy to avocado. To note, the burger didn’t even automatically come with avocado, she just mentioned it because it is a popular add on. She said she wrote a specific note on the ticket not to include avocado, and it still was placed on the burger. Thankfully, my allergy isn’t super severe, but I did have to take meds for a reaction, and was in some discomfort.

The server was extremely apologetic and they made me a new entree, but the refire took quite a while, which is stressful when under a time limit for flights. When it came out, the dipping sauce I initially requested wasn’t delivered with it, so I asked the expo worker who delivered the food if she could bring some. She said yes but never came back. It took 15 minutes for me to flag down someone else to bring it. I give them the benefit of the doubt as it was a busy night.

I asked for the bill early to settle it so I could leave for my flight and they did not comp anything or offer a concession for the mixup with the allergen. I didn’t ask for one as I ate the food, but I kinda expected something as screwing up a food allergy in a restaurant is kind of a huge deal. Even comping my drink or a dessert or something. I tipped graciously regardless and didn’t put up a fuss but I just was disappointed.

Overall, the food was good, and the servers were nice, but I wasn’t really impressed with how my situation was handled. Probably wouldn’t return here just because I do have a few food allergies and it makes me nervous knowing how things...
