⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Customer Service Before My Flight!
I stopped for coffee before my flight at the MSP Terminal 1 location by Gate F3 and was treated phenomenally! There was a bit of a line with one cashier and two employees making drinks, but the teamwork was impressive.
While I was waiting, one of the gentlemen behind the counter greeted me warmly with a “Good morning!” and asked what I was planning to order. I mentioned I hadn’t ordered yet, but he offered to get started anyway and even customized my drink — a white chocolate mocha with caramel (which he called a “turtle mocha”).
When it was my turn to pay, he even helped process the transaction so everything was ready by the time the cashier came over. She smiled and said, “Oh good, he already rang you up!”
Afterward, he handed me my drink and said, “Take a sip and let me know if it’s too sweet — it’s one of our sweeter drinks.” He was right — it was a little sweet — and he happily adjusted it for me on the spot.
As I walked away, I heard him doing the same thing for the next customers — helping, greeting, and keeping the line moving. Huge props to Tommy at this location — friendly, proactive, and clearly a team player who takes pride in his work. Thank you for making my quick coffee stop such a positive experience.

Read moreI work at caribou coffee in a different location and I was utterly shocked at the poor service at this location. I believe that the greeter who helped me was inexperienced but they were incredibly rude to me telling me I should slow down telling the drink I wanted because they didn’t want me mess up. My order was not very complicated-1latte and a soda and it took a very long time for the greeter to understand me. I was polite despite the unprofessionalism. I showed my employee ID card and handed it to the greeter, who didn’t know how to ring up the 30% discount so instead of asking for another employee or an MOD, they just gave up. I was extremely disappointed as well as when I received my iced latte and I found multiple stray coffee beans floating-possibly came from the Hopper? Anyways, I do not appreciate rude people that come in and get their coffee but I would never handle a simple situation the way this greeter did. After the incidents, I attempted calling about 10 times over the course of a week to talk to an MOD. Read moreMy flight was delayed, so the airport was kind and gave me $15 to spend on food. I went to Caribou and the service was terrible. I had to wait 10 minutes for the worker to take my order. Not in a way that she was busy, she just stood around doing nothing. When she finally came to take my order, I showed her the code on my phone from the airport to pay for my food. She took my phone from me and entered the code. After it didn’t work, her coworker also tried it. They told me that I would just have to pay with my own money because there was a line behind me. I was upset that I had to pay because I was excited that the airport was paying for me. I let it all go because I was technically “holding” up the line.
