G.I. Jade Tiki Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Fort Walton Beach

Honestly would never recommend this place to anyone!!! Prices are high for what you get and service was horrible.

We were so excited to find this place until we experienced their horrible service and food.

First off we were greeted immediately and our server was great until we placed our order (two friends shrimp plates with fries)

2 hours pass and the server finally comes over to tell us that the kitchen thought they already sent our meal out and there was a mix up on orders. We said that’s ok and was patient for them to fix it. Then the server comes back around and said they had to remake the food again. This time we have been there 3 hours and all the tables around us have already eaten and left (each of them arrived after us)

We got there at 7pm for dinner and left around 10:30pm.

We finally got our food and there were three small pieces of shrimp on each of our plates and burnt fries…. We were so hungry by then we ate whatever was there. Our server avoided us like the plaque even though we had been understanding the whole time (I used to be a server so I understand things can get crazy) our drinks were empty the whole three hours too (even when asked for refills). They weren’t busy either. It was us and four other couples in the entire restaurant but then our tab came and I expected something for the inconvenience of waiting 3HOURS for our food. But nope they charged us full price (I thought possibly 10% off or at least our teas free)

They could care less about us and we left never to return again.

I suggest not eating here. Not worth the expensive prices for subpar food and horrible service. I would give them zero...

After 45 minutes never received 10 inch pizza. Manager was extremely pushy and arrogant. I'd asked for the bill to leave as she stated that it was in the oven. Claiming they were very busy. I was outside in the dining area with a total of 8 other people who had arrived after me and were already being served food. After asking for the bill she asked if I wanted the bill or a modified bill. I said I'll pay for what I'd received. Waited another 5 minutes and she was still working on the bill. Had to call the other off duty bartender over to show her how to work the POS system. I got tired of waiting for the bill got up gave the bartender who was helping her a 20 and told him that that should cover the one beer and one margarita I'd received and to give what was left to the waitress as a tip. The n I left with my date. The manager then followed me out to the parking lot trying to hand me my bill which I declined to take. This went on all the way to my car at which point she then started trying to hand it to her. She refused to take it. When my date got in the car the manager reached in and stuck the bill in the door compartment. She then ran off very quickly. My date opened it and found the 20 dollars in the bill. I told her to throw it out the window. But she said she'd keep it. Which was fine by me. I'll go back there tonight and pay the bartender for a beer and a margarita as she is very familiar with me. I've never seen such a bad manager either she's never worked as a manager, or she is totally incompetent. I'll never order any food there again. Although I will continue to visit the bar as I enjoy...

Was another good night at G.I. Jade Tiki Bar & Bistro. We love to visit and relax and enjoy awesome food and music every time. We are locals and have been there quite a few times. Could have been a great night, Sadly we were disappointed with our service for the first time tonight. This could have been avoided if our server wasn’t distracted by her boyfriend that was there the entire time we were there, 8/18/22. So many mistakes and delays with our order and our server didn’t seem concerned. She was too distracted with a boy. One item we ordered didn’t even get on the order from the kitchen. When we were ready to go because of her poor judgment and service for our table( she was sitting with her guy chatting, when she should have been working). We just paid our tab with no tip. I feel it wasn’t deserved at all. Our server literally gave the bird to our friend that was visiting for the week, from out of state. Very bad. We will be back cause one incident can’t hold us back. But if it continues to be a problem, we are done! I do hope Luisa talks to the staff and helps them to understand the importance of hospitality and courteousy when in the industry.
