Well for starters my husband and I arrived in line knowing that these locations are 24/7 so they should have fresh fries, burgers etc. they're open 24/7. But when we pulled up into the drive-thru we had a really angry man's voice on the order board saying that it was going to be a 40 minute wait my husband and I looked at each other and said "40 minutes with two cars in the Drive-Thru and nobody else waiting seem suspicious." When the angry male's voice on the order board said 40 minute wait he had the audacity to ask if you still wanted to order?we're like yeah we're going to order our food we're hungry you're the only thing open at 12:00 in the morning. He seemed to lose his cool and give an attitude like we were taking up his time like he didn't want to actually have to do something or make something which that is his job considering he works at Whataburger and is paid $15 an hour. Instead he gives the customers an attitude problem and scuff and make comments. Nonetheless we accepted the 40 minute wait which we still thought was quite fishy, we got in line and we sat there it literally took from the time we ordered after the attitude problem from the employee on the headset through the drive-thru, it took 10 minutes. We finally get to the window and we get an attitude problem again from a very tall kind of heavy set African American male who was very rude, very impatient and wanted to rush us off. He basically pushed the iced teas out the window at my husband literally almost dropping them in his lap. like he was being inconvenienced, plus the blonde girl who's also a little heavy set shorter than him seem like she didn't want to be there in the Drive-Thru talking to him. Needless to say we got our burger and fries for my husband and the two sweet teas and when we finally got to where we were going 5 minutes up the road so that we could eat it.We were really frustrated, disgusted with the attitude and customer service that we had just received from that quite tall heavy set African American male completely utterly disrespectful to his Whataburger customers. My husband opens the bag the fries taste and look like they've been sitting under the lights for 6 hours that's not a joke. and that's not right when you're open 24 hours, and you are to be making new food every time if I have to wait for my food it should be fresh and hot. these fries were definitely not. Myhusband even said what do they do sweep these off the floor in the Drive-Thru,and put them in a bag for me. Disgusting, horrible, over the top disrespect. The burger was edible but you skimp on the fresh fries. When Whataburger's prices are astronomical for what you actually get so we pay a good penny for food and we get second rate mediocre cold disgusting fries and super horrible horrendous service. We definitely will not be back to this location. If that person is not fired or has to go through training I will make sure I let everybody know how horrible the overnight shift employees are at this Whataburger location. They all want 15 or 16 an hour wow for him he should not get 15 to $16 an hour because he gave about $2 an hour in service last night. I know what customer service is I'm in the customer service industry. The customer is always the number one priority you don't want bad reviews or bad recommendations because yes you're a multi-billion dollar company but as customers are the ones that have to deal with the mismanagement and the horrible completely inappropriate disrespectful customer service. Like I said before my husband and I will never ever come to this Whataburger location again the customer service is leaves you with a really bad taste in your mouth and the overpriced food should be hot and ready 24/7 if you're going to keep your restaurant open 24/7 and I believe your employees especially your overnight staff need to be retrained in the fact that customers pay their paychecks. Think twice before you want to dish out $20 for 6 hour old fries a burger that's edible and horrible horrendous customer service skills if you...
Read moreWas very disappointed in the service. The employees acted like they could careless about anyone but their own side conversation rather then actually paying attention to what was on the order. My husband and I went and ordered our food it took a few minutes for us to even order (due to the employees more concerned about their own conversation then taking a paying customers order) we waited which the wait wasn't very bad finally get our food. We proceed to go to our truck we get in and thank God we didn't pull away as I go and check to make sure everything is in the bag I notice they forgot our fires. Like seriously people if you would of been paying attention then maybe you wouldn't of forgotten the fries to begin with and I went back in to let them know and that took another few minutes to get due to them having their own side conversation that was apparently more important. Finally get the rest of our food and leave. I ate my food but my husband didn't eat his sandwich that he ordered which was the mushroom and Swiss burger. So he saved it for the next day to take for work. When he got home the next day he decided since he forgot to take the sandwich with him that he was gonna eat well thankfully he realized as soon as he took a bite that something was wrong. He found multiple wood chippings in his food (note we didn't remove his sandwich from the original bag or anything) we both were furious. And honestly I don't think we will ever be back after...
Read moreLook, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Whataburger but today (on a Wednesday!) at this location was awful. It started with what I assume is an off duty employee in line in front of me, skipping everyone to stand at counter beside tea dispensers, insisting that the cashier take his order before the people he skipped. She made him wait (good for her). Then the same guy was yelling back to the kitchen to cook his food first. I don't know if this guy completely threw off the whole kitchen off or if this location is always this lackluster but our order was COMPLETELY skipped over. After waiting patiently, thinking maybe there was a small discrepancy, we had to ask about our order to which the worker replied " I just cleared that order out a few minutes ago" we then hear him yell back to the kitchen asking where the food was. With a full dining room, at least half (10 people) had to return food because their order was wrong. When we finally got our skipped over order, our order was wrong as well. Floors were absolutely filthy. Just about everyone in the dine in area was disappointed. I cannot help but feel like it all started with this supposed employee making demands to the kitchen from the consumer side of the counter. At least I hope. I understand that things happen and people make mistakes but I can say that I've never experienced a situation where that many orders were wrong back to back. Only bad experience I've EVER HAD at a...
