07/31/25 date of my (adult) nail appt: I am about to go out of town, and my appointment with my usual nail tech was canceled due to his illness, so I decided to try 98 nail bar based on reviews. I am super picky about the foundation of my acrylic nails. I pay attention to quality and technique. I was not disappointed.

Amy is such a sweetie pie. She did my pedicure and full set on my toes. She did a fabulous job. I left feeling like maybe I need to sell some feet pics. Surely there is a market for short fat toes, right?! 😂 Julie did my full set and design, and I love it. My nails look super expensive. My total for my nails was a bit more than I normally pay ( the price of services on my feet were standard), but I am super satisfied with the level of detail and pampering I received. I definitely recommend this shop (for adults).

Okay, while I stand by what I initially said, I recommend asking prices before you start service. I just brought my 7 year old daughter to get a pedicure and manicure, and the total was $128 just for her services.🥴 The breakdown of the price was kind of crazy to me. I don't know why it isn't printed on the receipts. My daughter picked out a glittery purple polish, and instead of just grabbing a gel polish containing the color and glitter together, they charged me separately for the glitter and the polish. $30 for the polish alone, a necessity of a nail service. I already think it's crazy to charge more for the type of polish, but to charge a kid, the adult price is even more crazy.

Price break down (which is not detailed on receipts. I watched them add it on the calculator):

Kids pedicure:$35. Gel polish:$20 glitter:$10 Kids manicure:$25 Gel polish:$20 glitter: $10

I still don't know how we got $128 unless they took two dollars off when I started asking questions.

Fyi There really is no differentiation between kids and adults.

The guy that serviced her, Nam, was meticulous and did a fabulous job. Its just highly likely that I won't be back even for my nails because I felt cheated by the pricing when I left after the kids' service. I expected to be close to $100, but the extra $20 for the glitter really blew me. I will include a picture of her...

My daughter and I made appointments here based on a recommendation from our usual nail tech that was unavailable due to illness. At the time we made an appointment, we were told they were having a 30% off Grand Opening special.

We arrived about 5 minutes prior to our appointment time. The tech that I was scheduled with showed up about 10 minutes late.

Pedicures were okay but not great. Feet are still rough. We both agreed that the attentiveness to the service was not good as expected.

Manicure - my daughter opted for a manicure, clear polish. Her tech did a great job.

Dip Removal - I only get dip sets and am used to the process but this one was an extremely hot/scalding removal process. I expressed my concerns to the tech a few times and she finally made some adjustments

Dip Set, No Tips- I am so unhappy about my nails. I opted for the same color as my feet but added designs. I’m not sure if this is the norm but it is just not good work. The dip coverage, the shaping, and the designs are all bad. Pictures attached were taken 3 days after my appointment.

Price - $264 (2 Gel spa pedis, mani, dip removal, dip application, design) normal pricing for all services. — as mentioned above, we were told there was a 30% special running till the end of the month. Upon checkout, I was informed that the special was over. The cost isn’t the issue, however, in this case I was told one thing and it was not honored.

Lastly, I asked for an itemized receipt but the tech couldn’t produce one so we went through each charge and I annotated it on the copy of my receipt. The tech seemed to be agitated at my questions but I didn’t let it bother me, I’m a detailed person.

My friend and I made appointments here based on a recommendation from our usual nail salon across town that was booked out and couldn’t fit us in at the time we needed. We called and we made appointments and were told we could receive 10% off as their “Birthday Special”! It was both of our birthdays and we were so excited, we love a good discount!

We arrived about 5 minutes prior to our appointment time. The salon was clean and beautiful and the techs were finishing up with their previous appointments. They greeted us as we checked into their self-help kiosk. As we waited, we were offered cold beverages (Water, Wine, Mimosas, & Soda) and looked through color books. I couldn’t decide at the time and my nail tech chose a beautiful ombré chrome for me that looked like it was out of a Pinterest pic.

My nail tech, Sue, was SO sweet and it was like we had been best friends our whole lives! I felt so welcomed, the location is super convenient and I was aware of the pricing beforehand because they have it listed in their service menus and it was nice they reviewed it again with me.
