Madison was my waitress, I ordered enchiladas and they were not made correctly. I asked for one beef and one cheese. They were supposed to have cheese sauce and red sauce on them. I ended up with one bean and one cheese with no cheese sauce. I asked my waitress if she could help me and she got a manager. The manager said that the waitress asked me three times if I wanted a bean and cheese instead of beef and I said yes. This was a complete fabrication. I told her they were made incorrectly and also did not have cheese sauce on them. She offered to remake them, but my date would have finished his meal by the time I received my new dinner, which is awkward. So I asked what else she could do. She offered a 50% discount, but in order to get the discount I could not finish the complete meal. WHAT??? I have never heard of such a thing. If she was going to replace my entire meal, the old plate would have been food waste, plus them making a new meal. But if I kept it and ate the whole thing I would get no discount, and it was their error! I gave my plate to the manager and asked to be refunded, so I didn’t get to eat dinner. I confronted the waitress Madison, and told her she never checked with me or reviewed my order let alone three times. She insisted she did. I told her that was a lie and it’s something that she is going to have to deal with and live with. I had just been there one week before and enjoyed it so much, I wanted to go back again. So instead of a frequent repeat customer, they lost my business for life. Both the manager and waitress should be...
Read moreFor like 20 years, Cebolla's has served some of the tastiest Mexican food experiences I have eaten in 48 states. It isn't that the food is more authentic or that there are dishes on the menu that only a Mexican local who has lived in the many regions Mexico would recognize, it is the simple fact that Cebollas serves a menu that has been adjusted for the midwest American palate. We don't leave the restaurant with heartburn, or your mouth in flames, and the food you eat just makes you want to come back for more. Areas for improvement? Freshen up your antiquated decor and deep clean. Come out with a monthly menu. Give us a few more salsa options (yes your current salsa is a homerun, but I'd love to have some other choices). How about some Birria, Barbacoa, Pollo al Carbon or Carne Asada? Or some authentic Mexican street tacos? Personally, I like cebollitas, it would be nice to offer a small plate of them to order. I'd love to see some exciting desserts to finish the meal. Fort Wayne has become more worldly since the early days when you started and you have a lot more competition, time to show us why you are the #1 Mexican restaurant...
Read moreI called Cebolla's and asked how much the strawberry daiquiris were. The person who answered was not sure so she gave the phone to someone else, who gave the phone to someone else who then told me $11.98. I said "okay, thanks." The bar manager of the Fort Wayne store was too busy talking to her friends that she didn't even notice a couple who came in and waited for 15 min before they got service! My waiter only came over once to ask me for anything! When it was my time for the bill, it came up to $16.98. I said this isn't right. My waiter got the manager (which took 12 minutes) and I told her about the bill. She went to talk to the person that told me $11.98. I waited so long that finally I got up and left. When I got up to the cash register, they were both standing there and the manager told me that the girl was wrong and that I have to pay $16.98. I said what ever and left without tipping! What ever happened to customers are always right? They even admitted they were wrong and still charged me! They lost my family as customers and I always get margaritas from there but...
