Terrible!!...I've tried to find something to redeem this food establishment & I've finally given up. The first time I tried the food, I was underwhelmed with the mediocre quality of the various dished we ordered. But its so convenient, so I kept trying, the service was abrupt, verging on ignorant, so again I over looked it due to the inexpensive price and convenient location. I expected fast chinese food, there is never more than a couple of people in as customers at peak times, so I would order take out over the phone, always asking how long before my food order would be ready, I was typically told 10-15 minutes. So I would turn up a little early to begin with & they where not ready, so I would wait longer & this last time tonight, I turn up 20 minutes after I ordered. Thinking I would walk in & pay and take my order immediately to go. NO, I get there, with nobody else in the place and the ignorant cashier, wants to take my cash, so I ask is my order ready, he says its almost ready, so again I ask is my order ready to go, he says they are just about to start cooking it, which I know means I will wait the 10 minutes or more until its complete. So I ask, why to I bother to order over the phone and you tell me it will be ready in 10 minutes. The response I get was a shrug of his shoulders. He did not want to admit he lied to me. I'm tired of crappy service, poor quality and lack of basic customer respect!!....I'm now a former customer and never support this local...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. My best friend got me hooked on it and now I'm a regular. Their sesame seed chicken is amazing. I have started to ask for extra broccoli with it though since there never seems to be enough. Their crab rangoon and their shrimp lo mein are also some of my favorites. Their portion sizes are good too. I like to get two large meals plus a six piece crab rangoon and separate it out for my lunches through out the week. Their prices are good compared to other places around here as well. I went to a fancy Chinese place a few weeks back and thought it wasn't as good as my usual here. The only complaint I have is that the inside of the restaurant is kind of gross to be honest, it could certainly use a good scrub down but I normally get take-out anyway since I'm within walking distance to the place. Plus it's right next to the 77 Steps alleyway which is a nice atmospheric spot to eat with some friends if you don't want to take it home and don't want to eat inside the establishment. It's a great place with great food for a great cost. I highly...

The beef literally tasted like rubber, the egg drop soup was neon orange, and the chicken tasted like it was seasoned with soap. And if all that wasn't enough to repulse you, everything was super, SUPER oily.
My friend told me it was a one-time thing and that he was so sorry for recommending it to me and it turned out like this. But you know what? This CANNOT BE a bloody one-time thing. No self-respecting restaurant would ever, EVER let a single plate of their food come out like this, let alone an entire order.
If you are looking for your Chinese fix, please, PLEASE just go to Hainan House, China House, Bamboo Garden, Wu's Fine Chinese, hell, Panda Express, anywhere else but this. Even Tokyo Grill / Fujiyama seemed like a gourmet restaurant compared to this. Heck. Even Great Wall. And I really, REALLY hate Great Wall.
Yes, it'll be a bit more expensive. No, you'll still thank...
