Georgios King Gyros — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

I’m not gonna lie… it’s been a while since I’ve left a review for a restaurant while I’m still AT the restaurant, BUT!!! My current experience inspired me to leave this place best review possible right away! I had the ribeye steak sandwich with a side of fried mushrooms and ranch. I got my French bread for the sandwich toasted with garlic butter. No toppings. And I ate the steak separate. They charbroiled the steak a second time for me because it got a little cold, but that perfected the flavor of the steak! I prefer it well done :) The fried mushrooms were sooo good! I couldn’t stop eating them lol and the portion was huge. My garlic toast was good. And the service??? Baby their customer service is excellent!!! I really appreciate that! Everyone on the staff treated me so nicely - it was refreshing. Last but certainly not least, the establishment is very clean! When I say I couldn’t find a piece of trash, a spot on a floor, a crumb on a table??? I MEAN that. Excellent, praiseworthy experience! Thank you Georgios King Gyros! This will now be my new gyro spot (even though I haven’t even had their gyros yet lol). In short, you won’t regret...

Ordered a #3 combo (Chicken Gyros, Fries, Pepsi). The service was very friendly and expedient (took less than 5 minutes after ordering to receive my food).

The portions were generous - contents were spilling out of the pita and the bag of fries was roughly the same size as a McD's large.

As for the food itself, the chicken gyros was delicious! The meat was well seasoned (not too much seasoning, and not too little) as well as very tender, but not mushy at all! The onions and tomatoes were very fresh and the amount of tzaziki sauce was just right. The tzaziki sauce was not too sour and not too sweet - it was darn near perfect.

As expected the Pepsi was fresh with just the right amount of syrup.

My only suggestion to the awesome team there would be to get listed on the delivery apps! I'm a grubhub+ member, and would certainly order from there more often, as I don't always have enough time during lunch to pick...

Tried this one as I think it may be seperate from the chain. The original gyro had braised pork shoulder which was quite tender; gyro with feta was also flavorful with those wonderful thin-sliced onions. For fast food I normally don't expect such attentive service, but manager (or owner; I am not sure) made recommendations and seemed genuinely proud of the food served. They also have roasted chicken and beef tips. Chicago dogs I hear are recommended. Sounds like their shakes are good and I am interested in the Baklava Shake. French fries were a miss for me as usually Gyro places have the best fries, and these were pretty average. Resteraunt was very clean. So I will say overall above average / excellent. Price is decent for what you get for...
