KFC — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

My husband wanted Lee's, but I talked him into KFC because I wanted one of their famous bowls. Should have listened to him. The bowl had maybe a tablespoon of gravy on it. Very dry without the gravy. The worst part though, and the reason why I will not be ordering from KFC ever again, is that we ordered one of the chocolate chip cakes, which said on the website was "great for sharing" and we got this tiny 3 oz "mini cake" (according to the label on the container) that wouldn't feed 2 people. I have ordered these cakes in the past, and you got an actual cake that could be cut into at least 6 pieces. Nowhere on the website did it say it was only a 3 oz cake, otherwise I never would have ordered it. To say that a 3 oz cake is great for sharing is an absolute joke. The worst part though it that it cost $4.99 for this tiny cake (see pic of the little container it came in). I can go to the store and buy a full-sized cake for that price. I've heard of shrinkflation, but that is absolutely ridiculous to charge that much for what was basically a one serving cake. I'm done with KFC and will be sticking with Lee's...

If you value your health please DO NOT GO to this KFC location at 3816 State Blvd. I paid $32.26 for food that was inedible! When I got home I discovered that the two Pepsi drinks I ordered had no flavor. They tasted of mold and cleaning solution. The two chicken strip meals that I ordered were disgusting. The meat was so tough and not from being crispy. They were gross🤢 I thought I might have better luck with the famous bowl that I ordered, unfortunately that too was disgusting. The chicken tasted old and flavorless and I barely had any gravy in the bowl. I called and spoke with the manager about these issues and he was rude and expressed no concern. When I told him about the Pepsi drinks, he nonchalantly said oh well...only thing I can do is give you replacement drinks if you come back up here. My wife and I bought the 10 piece meal that comes with 2 sides and 4 biscuits.I got an extra side also so our order was just under $38. It's Sunday dinner about 5:30pm. Should be good,hot and fresh. WRONG! We were told they only had original... no problem. Except it was... Dry,old chicken that probably had been there all day. Smashed biscuits. Dry cole slaw... And what looked like half a large side of mac 'n cheese and half a large side of mashed potatoes. There were 3 legs,3 wings,1 breasts,2 thighs and what I think is half of a thigh. We should have called 911 because we got robbed! It should be a crime to actually charge somebody for food that bad! But they have a no refund policy stating that if you're not happy they will make it right. Why didn't they make it right the first time? I would have packed it back up and brought it back but my wife was nibbling on part of the breast on the way home. I figured I'm stuck with it now but I won't spend another dime there. Buyer beware!
