Guadalupe's Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

Okay, it’s that time to write my review after I’ve given this place 4 times to prove itself. First time I walked in, I wasn’t greeted and it was just a negative vibe but food was good so I came back. 2nd time we ordered carry out and they never gave us any salsa that I ordered… 3rd time walked in again for a carry out and wasn’t greeted kindly and they just were rude. Well I should have learned by then, but tonight I went in because I needed something fast… well again I wasn’t greeted and then when I asked if I could get a quesadilla they told me that they don’t make quesadillas. Ummm excuse me??? Mind you I ordered a quesadilla last time and it was no problem… also, they have a sign that says order a quesadilla online… like what? I’m sorry but terrible customer service. I personally love Guadalupe’s! Better than any other Mexican food this style of having it. This location here is a JOKE! No wonder the people in front of me was asking to add more “this and that!?” Typically minding my business I shrug it aside. My turn to order food and I began with my bowl. Ask for rice and the bean, the server literally doesn’t attempt to make a whole serving spoon full of rice and then proceeds to give me a thin layer of beans on top and looks at me wanting to know what protein I wanted….. I’m a Grown Man, who is paying sit down restaurant prices of quality Mexican food and you expected me to be ok with child like portions!? I walked out, can’t do it. Im not gonna argue and beg to be given a adult portion of food for the price...

The food was ok, but 2.50 extra if you want any guacamole with your meal and over 2 bucks if you want any chips and salsa with your meal and they tried to skimp me and my wife hardcore on the meat and beans both and on top of that the salsa itself is not very good. Salsa grill beats this place out. Also I asked if they gave chips and salsa with the meal and he said we don’t have very many chips left so it’ll just be a little bit of chips is that OK? And I said sure that’s fine and I was assuming they were free he did not tell me I was paying for them until I saw my receipt and he still charged me full price for them. We...
