I was introduced to the "Omish crack" back in 2017 when I came back to the Fort Wayne area to see my grandson graduate. Up the Shipshewana way. My birthday was coming up and I wanted to treat my fellow employees to the customarily ideas of bringing in donuts for my birthday. I think this custom started when it was your birthday during school you brought a treat in , cupcakes, cookies or something like that. Anyhow, I stopped by a inquired about the delectable goodies. The smell of fresh pastries, donuts, breakfast rolls was intoxicating. The hostess helped me put to gather an order for the following Monday..

Picked my order on that Monday. A delightful smatherings of all the favorites. My ride into work was exceptional with the smells of the delicacies I smelling on my way in. A complimentary cup of coffee, and great service of this extraordinary breakfast haunt ( yes, haunt, the sit down area of regular customers were sing and talking abkut the different choices of their entrees was refreshing for me.) was what my decision to treat my fellow employees with the Rise N Roll experience. I can tell that they to were glad I stopped by there to bring in donuts that day. Not only did I bring in donuts, that day, but I brought smiles to all who came to work that day... yes, I over bought, but with all the choices of this and that we had these treats for two day.

First became familiar with rise and roll with their bakery shop close to Shipshewana. We're excited when they brought one to Fort Wayne on Illinois road. We loved their baked goods and ham salad. You could get all items they carried in Shipshewana at the Illinois road location. When the DuPont road location opened we were even more excited because this location was even closer to us. However, they do not carry all items like the other two do. No ham salad. And the final straw for us was when we came in on a Monday and wanted to buy some cinnamon rolls. There were none and we were told they don't have cinnamon rolls on Monday. Huh? Really? We have gotten tired of not being able to purchase what we would like to have because they just don't feel like preparing something or carrying a certain item. Sure, their stuff is good, but if you can't get it, what use is there going there? We will just start going to the Illinois road location again and whenever we are up by Shipshewana we will swing in there. And be aware also that they hike their prices up compared to...
