We ate here for the first time tonight! Darrell wanted pizza the Meat lovers however, I’m not a Meat Lover. Don’t get me wrong I love meat just not that much meat on a pizza, so Darrell had lasagna and I had the eggplant Parmesan. Growing up Italian in a Sicilian home very picky about my marinara so I had mine made with pink sauce. There was an up charge . I’ve never been charged an up charge when I’ve asked for pink sauce but that’s OK we paid it. I have to say the eggplant was wonderful. The breading was flavorful and crispy. The eggplant was nice and thick. The pink sauce was good and there was plenty of pasta. Darrell said that the lasagna was okay. So if you follow me then you know what that means LOL. He really liked the garlic knots they were hot and fresh. I do like to dip mine in balsamic vinegar and olive oil I didn’t ask for any though. They didn’t skip on the pasta snd there was plenty of pink sauce! Just not enough mozzarella cheese on the eggplant which was a good thing you could really enjoy the flavor of the eggplant! I hope Darrell will want to try them again.

Alex’s is a great new family establishment that just opened up down the road from my home. It boasts New York style pizza and pasta and it really lives up to its name. We ordered the lunch special, two slices with 1-topping and and antipasto salad (total under $15) and it was so much food for two people. We dined in and they set down some garlic rolls with our food, which I believe came with the antipasto order. The super friendly staff recommended a tomato based house vinaigrette for the salad which was also really delicious for dipping bread. We used to live in NJ and would travel frequently into NYC for pie. Alex’s pizza really reminded me of good east coast pizza. Their lunch slices were huge, with a crispy thin crust, light sauce and just the right amount of fresh mozzarella. I would recommend checking out this new place to anyone willing to support a new family owned business that delivers fresh, delicious and affordable Italian food.

I've tried to like this place. NFW is a pizza desert and the thought of a real NYC style pizza shop being 5min from my house was really appealing. After several disappointing orders (pizza basically tasting only of salt - or nothing at all when I tried a pizza without the seasoning added) I placed my ~5th and perhaps final order tonight (pickup). The pizza was not ready when we arrived on the back end of the pickup window and we waited an additional ~10 minutes (not something that is necessarily an issue if it means a better/fresh product). I got home and opened the box to find a raw Sicilian pizza. I called the shop (offering to pay for the salad that we also ordered but asking the pizza to be refunded) and was told that they'd place a note to credit my account (I have an account?) for a future order. I doubt I'll bother giving this place another shot.

My family and I love the food. But the online ordering service, customer service, and professionalism leaves much to be desired.

Placed an order online at 7:30. Estimated pickup time 7:47. Upon arrival, was told 3 more minutes till order was finished. 10 minutes later I was asked what I was waiting on and then told my order would be ready in 10-15 more minutes. When I asked why the delay when my estimated order pick up time was 7:47. Manager told me that the app did not matter. It was her internal system that was correct and it stated 8:18 for pickup. I told manager that I used app to speed up the process and pay online. The manager then told me that I really have not paid for the order yet. The funds go to a third party processor first; so they don't have the money and I really haven't paid for the pizza yet. Then someone came from the kitchen area and told me that he didn't care what the app states on my confirmation number. I told both the manager and staff member I was disappointed with how I was being treated and stated that they had lost a customer. Kitchen staff member stated " good, go enjoy your food somewhere else". Neither the manager, nor the staff person finally brought my pizza to me. It was the cook from the kitchen. Along with my pizza was a paper plate. The cook told me here is a plate for you to eat your pizza on the way home, since you...

I would like to publically apologize to Alex's Pizza for what was indicated a one star rating that was completed on my phone by a friend when I left the room. I was unaware of this rating.

After receiving one star ratings at my business, highly unusual, I began to look at the names providing these reviews. The names were not on any recent credit card runs at my business. Pulling up those names it lead me back to Alex's. The folks giving me a 1 star review had also provided 5 star review for Alex's.

I'm sorry you felt compelled to do this, but given why I understand. I'm sorry this occurred. An honest review of your product would be warranted.

The person I had one of your pizzas with grew up in New York and since I taste all competitors pizzas, she picked one up. I assure you on this. The crust and sauce were not to my liking and the ununiform nature of the toppings did not please me. I would give it a 3.5 but that was not an option. I've corrected the rating to a three. I have no knowledge of your other menu items.

Please accept my apology for this occurence. If you want to critique my product I'll be happy to bring you a pizza....just please critique then provide a rating. I'm sure you'll do great with your...
