Burgers N Beyond BnB — Restaurant in Fort Worth

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This review has nothing to do with the food because in all honesty it was overall good except the burger I ordered didn't come the way I asked and the bun was a bit chewy. I got wings, chicken and rice and a signature salad. This review is mostly about the quality of service and the character of the actual owner of this restaurant who is a female. She was extremely unfair, unkind and very condescending! I ordered one of the signature salads and my 5 month old just started reaching and you guessed it she knocked the whole salad on the floor. Now we ate inside the restaurant and so I scrapped the salad off the floor and walked to the front desk, asked them could they replace it and that my baby daughter knocked over and spilled the contents. They said yes, but shortly after the lady comes back and says that the manager said they won't replace it because it was my fault. I asked to speak to the manager thinking maybe she just misunderstood the situation. The manager comes out and I'm smiling because this has to be a joke right. The manager says once the food is in my possession they are no longer responsible for it and that I would have to pay for a whole new salad and that they simply can not afford to replace the salad, it would cost there business to much money. Now I made it clear that I had not taken anything from the salad that my baby made a mistake. Also I just spent $60 bucks and tipped well, and that all I'm asking for is lettuce at the end of the day. You can't afford to replace a "SALAD" are you kidding me. The most expensive thing on the salad was the grilled chicken and she didn't even offer to give me a salad without the meat or anything. I would have been even okay with that because at least you trying! She didn't try to work with me at all! I didn't walk out of her establishment and I ate inside. The way she spoke to be was extremely condescending and at one point our voices got elevated. Some customers even apologized to me for how ugly she treated me. JULY 19, 2025 UNDERSTAFFED, DISORGANIZED, AND OVERPRICED WITH AN UNFINISHED FEEL

Terrible service defined this visit. There was no manager on-site, and only one employee was handling both the register and cooking—an odd setup for a location directly across from a hospital that should expect consistent foot traffic. We waited 25 minutes, which we initially understood since the employee mentioned she was working alone. However, 4–5 other in-person customers who ordered after us were served first. Her excuse was that her manager called and instructed her to prioritize those orders, which only highlighted poor management and disorganization.

The food was disappointing and not worth the price. The burger was bland, reminiscent of a frozen school cafeteria patty where the only flavor came from the cheese, and it lacked the promised house sauce. The Cajun wings were mostly dry and overcooked. The Philly cheesesteak sub was mediocre, and the cheese sticks were very small for the price.

The atmosphere didn’t help. The space looked unfinished or poorly maintained, with chairs still on tables and tissue paper used in place of proper napkins. First time here & last one. We came from over 30 minutes Away since my wife saw that they won an award for best burger but when I did more research it was long time ago. When we first came in the dining room looked old and it was empty, not a single customer. We should have tienes around right there. I told the cashier it was our first time and she never said something like welcome or we are famous for this or that. Nothing... Then when food came out my wife's was warm but mine was extremely cold "I ordered the senior burger". They said that sandwich comes out cold because it has ranch which that doesn't even make sense. I asked the lady to please fix it and she looked upset and when she was in the back with cook I could hear both ladies mad complaining about it. Senior sandwich comes with fried onions and jalapeños which they came back super greasy the second time. They didn't make new ones they just put them back in the oil. Some things just have to make new. I ate it cause we came from far away and we were hungry but nothing special, food was flavorless, customer service bad and place looks old. Also even though we were dining in we got our food in boxes and bags. Not sure if the good owners sold the place or they just don't care anymore. Never...
