The first time I ever came here (June of this year) I was convinced this was the best coffee i've ever had. I love trying new coffee shops especially when they have signature drinks that you can't get just anywhere. I have now been to cherry a total of 4 times and have gotten the "Very cherry latte" iced every time. It is so very good and has a unique flavor from the house made cherry syrup that they put in the drink. The picture I attached was the 2nd time i ordered the drink (it looked like this both the first and second time I ordered it). Unfortunately, when I came back to cherry after school had started the drink did not taste the same. I ordered it to go as I was on the way back from school and the drink was fully brown and had no sign of the cherry syrup at the bottom. Before doing anything else I mixed the drink up and tried it, giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it had been previously stirred together. The drink did not taste like cherry at all and instead had the flavor of just a regular latte (espresso and milk). Now, I am the type of person who would usually not speak up about these things and just take it and leave but I had been looking forward to getting this drink for so long that i just kindly asked the employee to be sure that this was the very cherry latte and explained my concern. He said yes and that sometimes it just settles together but he added "more" syrup to it anyways at which point I was able to taste the cherry flavor less than usual but was still content. I am writing this now after coming back for the 4th time and getting in dine in. When I was handed the drink it was all brown again, and has no taste of cherry. I am honestly quite disappointed because this drink was my favoriteee ever, and its $7 +. Lastly, I have a note about the staff. I came here to knock out some homework but forgot my airpods so i've just been hearing everything going on and one of the employees is speaking pretty loud to his co-workers and is being quite feral with his language. I'm pretty sure i've heard every curse come out of his mouth which is honestly just disturbing to me and not something I came...
Read moreEdit: I am sadly having to edit my review. I had not used the bathrooms in my previous visits. And as someone who is both non binary and physically disabled, I saw the signs that they had two accessible unisex bathrooms. Yay! However on my visit during Arts Goggle, when I went to use this "accessible" bathroom, I was surprised. Maybe a little shocked. Because it was not accessible. My walker barely fit and could not be turned once inside. There were no hand rails by the toilet, and unless you have a compact manual wheelchair, you won't be able to use this bathroom. Accessibility is a BIG deal. I understand they probably can't make their bathrooms larger in size, though I wish they would. But at the very least having hand rails seems easy. And is very necessary for some of us. I'm sad to learn this large and winding coffee shop with the BEST oatmilk lattes is so inaccessible for me and other disabled people. Previous review with 5 stars: I walked by this shop a lot and finally remembered to go in! It's a very cute and warm environment, excellent drinks and a fair amount of seating. The staff is absolutely superb! Always friendly, always happy (which says something true about the owners I hope), and very helpful. This world is hard so remember to tip...
Read moreHot. Unfriendly. Overpriced and gross drinks. Dirty glasses. Crazy homeless people. Dirty coffee shop with crumbs, trash, and leftover spills. Employees dont clean or do anything. Slow service. Almost swallowed a sharp sliver of wood in my drink and saw floating brown stuff in my iced almond milk matcha latte. It literally just tasted like a cup of almond milk that was colored green for $8 and it wasnt even mixed all the way. I had to mix it myself with a straw. Couldnt taste the sweetener or matcha AT ALL. Cops were called when the homeless guys out front kept harassing everyone and one came inside, got a cup of coffee, and then threw it everywhere right behind me and then went outside and threw the rest at the window. Homeless will harass you through the windows too. They are common there apparently because the cops said they know them and deal with them all the time. Super hot inside and the front of house is small so it feels suffocating when a group of 4 or more people come in at once. Vibe was not relaxing or nice to be in. I just left and walked down the street to my usual spot and it was like night and day difference where I was actually able to relax and work on my computer while enjoying...
