I have been here at least 3-4 times in the past week, and that pretty much sums up how I feel about this place.
Such a magical place. I don't even know where to begin. This cute and homey cafe is located on Magnolia. It's almost hidden and I have driven past this location multiple times. They have a plethora of yummy baked goods that are freshly made each morning. Each time I have entered, there is something new to try. My personal favorite is the almond chocolate toffee muffin. Did I mention that their matcha is yummy and only $4.50 for an 8 oz cup? I had the best time eating and drinking my goods while reading my book the other day. Seating is limited, however, my favorite spot is next to the bookshelf and window overlooking Magnolia Street. Such a pretty sight, especially on a sunny day. They also have book-friendly curated events and novelties in the cafe. In one corner, there is a 'blind book date' section where you can pick out a book based on the blurb written by the sharer. In the other corner, there is a section where you can write little motivational messages for anyone to read or pick up. They also have sparking tea's! Good variety of things to try here, you won't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn April 6, 2024, I visited to get my favorite tea and syrup. However, I was told that they never make Lapsang tea with Lapsang syrup. When I asked if they could just add that specific syrup to my tea, two employees refused. This was surprising since I had been getting that combination at their old location and once at the new location. It was disappointing because this was the only reason I frequented the shop. I hope the manager sees this because my request is basic, and thereās no reason it shouldn't be fulfilled. The employees even claimed they didnāt carry that syrup and never made the drink, despite me having it a week before. Itās better to admit they don't know and ask for help than to lie. I havenāt returned since and no longer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreId give it 10 stars if I could! A cute and cozy place to stop and get a coffee/tea and a baked good treat. I tried the big oatmeal cookie crĆØme pie and it was really good and not overly sweet. The coconut chai tea is really good hot with oatmeal. They do have books here and have the ability for you to purchase books from the store from a website they have available via a QR code on the shelf. They have a small desk with some fun conversation starter games and have areas to sit down to have some fun with a small group. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the low pressure environment gives a very nice addition to the Magnolia Neighborhood. I have the ability to stay here for hours and get lost in my books. A true gem of a find for the city...
