I was gifted a couple $10 groupons to this specific location. When I pulled through the drive-thru the cashier told me there would be no problem with redeeming them. Our total was $20, because we were under the impression we could use both at once. However, whenever we got to the window the cashier told us we could only use one. Without any explanation or further instruction the window was closed in my face by the manager. We sat at the window until she came back to ask if we could just pull through and make two separate transactions. She said we could & we did. So we came back to the window to pick up our food now all of a sudden we needed to login to the Groupon website to "swipe" our Groupon... the manager refused to scan or take our redemption code from either Groupon because, "that's not how it works." I don't know if anybody is familiar with Groupons, but they sell books with tickets that you can only scan to redeem. They can also be printed off and have barcodes and redemption codes. I have never and nobody I have talked to has ever heard of "swiping" your Groupon on the website. Once you scan the barcode or use the redemption code they are not valid anymore. This is not the first time and it won't be the last time that somebody has gifted a Groupon. Probably some of the rudest staff I have ever met. Whenever I requested the district managers number she decided to call whomever first and then proceeded to give us a number. The district manager I'm sure knew they were about to receive a phone call, because they just received a phone call letting them know they were going to get a phone call and didn't answer!!! Window was slammed in my face numerous times and lots of eye-rolling all at the hands of the "manager." As a front-of-house manager at a restaurant myself, I would fire her. Management should have been trained properly and definitely it needs work on her...

I ordered a #2 combo thinking it was a 2 piece chicken combo (not an avid customer) when I got to the window the cashier says $28.53 and I told him right there that whatever that was I did not want because it was more than the amount of what I ordered. I specified that I wanted a 2 piece combo with a chicken and thigh. Another cashier comes over and asks me what I wanted I repeated to her a chicken and thigh combo with a side of mashed potatoes and an extra dinner roll. Me thinking my order was fixed I handed the cashier my card. As he closes the window he says AGAIN that'll be $28.53 and I tried to stop the window from closing to tell him that it still wasn't correct. This guy looks at me as I'm speaking and still proceeds with closing the window and STILL SWIPED MY CARD AND STILL HANDED ME THE SAME BAG THAT WAS ALREADY SITTING THERE PREPPED TO GO. I again said that I did not order that and he proceeds to tell me that I ordered was not a 2 PC chicken combo but a chicken tender combo and theylll added in an order of the wing and thigh. So I pretty much paid for two combos. I told him that I did not mean to order it and he just slammed the window on me while I was still talking. Very BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. The inside was closed or else I would have gone inside. No worries, I did dispute the charge with my bank but that was just low down and foul. The charge was unauthorized and he knew that. Read moreHorrible experience! As a Favor Runner I’ve been to many different Chicken Express drive through. I called ahead because it was somewhat of a big order. When I arrived at the drive through they said they were still working on my order and reminded me that I was early for the time they told me over the phone (2 minutes early!). I said no problem. Got to the window, they took my card and used it for the order that was behind me... No biggie, we got it fixed. Pulled up to wait for the food without blocking anyone. 11 minutes later the worker at the window went running after a truck that pulled out with what turned out to be my order. - as she was coming back I said, was that my order? “No, I have yours inside.” She replied. 4 minutes later her manager came out to apologize for the delay, the mix up with the charge and giving my order to someone else. 🙈 They gave me a gallon of sweet tea. And added a little extra food to the order I was delivering. To be honest, there was nothing they could have given to make it right.
