Today was my 3rd visit to this location. I have been going to Lisa chicken on camp Bowie forever and tell people about them all the time. Not anymore. This location made me so upset today that I will not go back and make sure everyone knows the horrible service I received. I ordered a 10 piece chicken with a side of large mashed potatoes- I got home to feed my family of 6 and I only had a large side of gravy, no mashed potatoes. My mother in law went back up there (so I could stay with my kids) to let them know that we did not get the mashed potatoes and oh my gosh they started questioning everything acting like we were trying to scam them for some free mashed potatoes. I did not have a receipt because the drive thru did not give me one. I paid with cash. At the time I didn’t even think about it because she handed me back my dollars and I assumed the receipt was with the dollars. but it wasn’t. The manager comes to see what is wrong and is very difficult - I mean come on doesn’t everyone know the customer is always right. Don’t tell me I didn’t order mashed potatoes because I did and I know the drive thru employee repeated it back to me. But he wanted to argue and say we didn’t and held us up for over 10 min. debating this. The manager was defensive which then upset my mother in law. She raised her tone with him a couple of times because it was so frustrating . We probably should of calmed down a little bit and we will take the blame for that but we didn’t understand why it was such a big deal. We had just drove back 20 min and now you’re going to tell me I didn’t order what I ordered. Then he makes me pay for the mashed potatoes when I had already paid for a large side of gravy that I didn’t order. So I was double charged. To top it all off this is the second time something like this has happened. Last time we went they messed up our order but we just said forget it and didn’t go back. Rolls do NOT come with gravy on them, like advertised. And they are nasty. They taste like hamburger buns. The chicken was mediocre. Sad thing is, the shrimp was so good, I'd want to come back. Way to expensive for what they over. I was so disappointed. Seemed run down and dirty. Menu was not easy to read. Believe me, the shrimp is the ONLY reason we would ever go back. Read moreI don't advise going to this location. The customer service was poor and the food did not meet my expectations of the money that we spent. For starters I asked prior to ordering if they had white gravy and was told yes which is the only reason we ordered 24 tenders. Upon getting our food we were never told that it was not available. After driving off we discovered that the okra was not fresh so we went back and it was at that point that we realized that the white gravy was not there. We asked for it and was then told that they didn't have any for the rest of the night. I called to make a complaint and was offered a free large gravy with my next purchase. Forget the fact that we didn't enjoy our first order how we wanted they wanted more money for another possible screw up. No thank you. I'll go somewhere else where my time and money is...
