Bad review of fantastic food! We went in tonight (Friday) around 7PM to see if we can get in, but unfortunately we were told there is an hour wait, so we decided to join the wait list and get a drink in a bar close by. We were messaged around 45 min later that the table is ready, so we swiftly arrived. Unfortunately, the table was not ready and we were temporarily seated on the side, whilst our waiter cleared the "kitchen sitting area" (imagine like a bar sitting area, but instead of a bar you have the kitchen and the guys making the pizza in front of you). Either way we sat down and enjoyed watching the guys for a minute whilst waiting for the waiter to arrive and give us the menu. This is when the problems started.... We waited over 15 minutes to get the menus and honestly we were starting to think that they forgot about us, as this area is not a proper table and the restaurant was busy. Finally we got the menus and ordered drinks, starter with marinara sauce and a pizza with ranch on the side to share. After another 20 minutes without even drinks, we were considering to just walk out, and we agreed to give them another 5 minutes before we do. Miraculously the drinks arrived within that time and so did the PIZZA....... without the side sauce or even plates or cutlery, which we had to call them back and ask for, we also asked why the main is here before the starter and the waiter said the main just "cooked quicker".... Now y'all we've ordered their knots (garlic bread) as a starter, how can that cook slower than the pizza and why would you serve the main first?! Not going to lie we were very unhappy at this point and the waiter could tell... 5 minutes later we got the starter. So now we have half cold pizza and garlic bread at the same time.. not happy. We tried both and I have to say the food was phenomenal! Pizza was fantastic (we've ordered Salami) and so was the garlic bread, marinara side was awesome and ranch amazing. The only thing that is bringing this evening down is the service which was absolutely atrocious. We still tipped 20% as we do not want people to work for free, but honestly we should have been paid for that service, not that waiter... Food was great, but service was awful, give it a try but not on a Friday or Saturday!

We walked in with a reservation and were sat immediately by the kind host. Our waiter was great (did not catch his name) and asked for drink orders. We ordered three waters plus some mixed drinks. Our waiter seemed very flustered and did great considering. We waited a while for our water, and a bit longer for our mixed drinks. Two of us ordered a mocktail of some sort and the other the Italian swirl marg (which was delish!) and it seemed that one of our mocktails (virgin jalapeño marg) was the cause of the wait. We would have liked an update on what was going on, but when the waiter expressed that the wait staff was short, we gave him some grace. The drinks we received were great, mine a raspberry lemonade hold the vodka, and she did not receive a virgin jalapeño marg. Tasted more like a piña colada, which she wasn’t mad about, but there was a tajin rim as requested and it did not go very well with the flavors. We ordered our food and waited right at an hour. Two of us ordered the hot honey truffle sandwich, one without the pepper pecan jam. Thank you to the waiter and the kitchen for respecting my nut allergy. The sandwiches were delicious, and I enjoyed every bite. A pepperoni pizza was ordered, which seemed to come out lukewarm. We figured maybe it was ready first, and they were waiting on our sandwiches? They tasted FRESH! I ordered dessert to go and enjoyed it. Seems as if they were very short on wait staff and the mocktail situation was a bit frustrating, but we made it work and were nonetheless pleased with what she got! We hope to come back when we’re in town again.

First time here, and I was on the hunt for some good pizza! I Googled a few places but didn’t like how outdated the pictures were. This place came highly recommended by a coffee shop called Crude Craft, so we decided to give it a try. The exterior has an industrial chic vibe, and the inside is a perfect mix of modern industrial meets conventional—very well done ambiance. Our server, Lucy, was fantastic—cool, down-to-earth, and super helpful with us first-timers. We ordered a half pepperoni, half veggie pizza (10/10). The freshness was undeniable, but I wasn’t a fan of the goat cheese on the veggie half. We also tried the lollipop lemon pepper chicken wings (7/10)—the flavor and seasoning were 10/10, but the wings themselves were just okay. Their house-made ranch was unique, with an interesting aftertaste. I tried the “Bishop Crackberry Cider” and loved it—definitely a 10/10. For dessert, we had the “Chocolate Blackout” cake (10/10)—moist with divine whipped chocolate icing, even though there was a lot of it. We also had their house-made doughnuts (10/10) with all the sauces—delicious! Overall, a great first-time experience. The service was excellent, and I would highly recommend this authentic pizza spot. Thank you, Pie Tap!

Horribly managed. Horrible service. I keep giving this place opportunities because the food, once it arrives, is not bad. However in the 10 times I have gone, I have gotten completely horrible service 9 of them. I consistently watch the waitstaff chit chat and joke usually while a manager joins in and does nothing. Went for brunch on the morning of June 14. Stood at the door for 5 minutes until the one server actually working stopped what he was doing and sat us. Then took forever to get our actual waiter (Quinn) to serve us. Then he came by and said I will bring you water and didn’t ask for a drink order . Water came after another 5 minutes and barely interacted with us again. I actually saw him leave for the back and then come wondering out and stop with a realization he didn’t bring us out water. Again this has been a common theme each time we have gone. Just like the multiple times he walked past our table and ignored us. I also watched him stand around and chat with other servers and then disappear in the back for several minutes as our drinks sat empty. We would have ordered more food and drinks if we got service. Sadly this was not a one off. Every time we come here it’s more of social gathering for the staff rather than a place of business. Food took forever to come out (again brought to us by the other server actually working), drinks stayed empty and barely saw our server. The restaurant was less than half full. Got checked on once, and then 20 minutes of sitting waiting for our server (again walking past our table several times and not even looking), and another 5-10 after we asked for the check. All while the manager did absolutely nothing except distract the other servers. Other people were also waiting for service and the manger just ignored his restaurant. With so many bad service experiences, I have to think it is it constituently bad and uninvolved management. It is a shame because this place could be very good, but the lack of service will make me never go back again. I shouldn’t pay to be ignored to the point t...

I've been coming here since this location opened pretty consistently. Food is always pretty good and service has always been spotty, but tonight might have been the final straw.

I'm typically a sit-at-the-bar kind of person as I prefer a low maintenance laid back dining (or to-go) experience. I live super close and often come in for a beer while waiting on a to-go order at the bar. Tonight I walked in to the bar with about a quarter of the seats filled, but all of the empty seats still unbussed with empty glasses and used dishes. No big deal, maybe I just walked in after a rush; however, after sitting down at one of the seats I was completely ignored. I sat patiently waiting for the bartender to notice I was there. When he finally walked over, he nodded at me and picked up the empty glasses in my spot and left. No offer for a drink (a menu?) or anything. I figured I'd give it a couple of minutes in case he was wrapping up something else. He then went and closed out a couple sitting next to me, made a drink for one of the servers, and then began chatting with a few people.

I continued to wait for a few more minutes, feeling kind of awkward, but literally no attempt was made to acknowledge me again. I finally just got up and left, feeling a little weird as the hostess at the front door noticed I had only been there about 15 minutes and was already headed out. I'm always pretty non-confrontational in these situations, and this is probably the first negative review I've ever left! While losing my business may not impact anyone's bottom line, it is unfortunate that a pretty decent place (food-wise) doesn't enforce customer service a little more. I'm really a low maintenance fly on the wall type of guy who really isn't that demanding, but it looks like Cane Rosso will now be my default pizza/pasta place in the neighborhood. So unfortunate, because I really liked this place, but if I'm going to spend ~$40'ish+ for a to go dinner and a beer, it would nice to be at least...
