UPDATE: Only once I posted publicly did they reach out—red flag in terms of sincerity—but I called them anyway. Every business makes mistakes, and I would've gladly changed my rating! I was passive-aggressively asked for my "side of the story" (now abbreviated below) before they admitted fault and apologized. They offered no make-up, partial refund, future discount—nothing.
As a fellow business owner, I always try to go above and beyond, let alone make things right with clients, let ALONE never make someone feel like an imposition for offering rightful feedback in a kind, calm tone.
A snooty florist is a champagne problem, but if you're gonna spend your hard-earned money somewhere, don't do it here. Too many kind florists operating in good faith to be treated like that, especially after giving them a chance to make it right in private. Do better!
A lot of weird stuff happened, but essentially I followed the pick-up directions on the order confirmation and was met with an annoyed woman saying we're supposed to pick up elsewhere. I suggested a revision to their pick-up directions, and instead of saying she'd pass our feedback on to owners/apologizing, our convo ended with her snapping, "There's nothing I can do about it, so." Girl, what? My husband and I were laughing in disbelief afterward.
Otherwise, my note was left out of the bouquet, freezing water was so full it sloshed all over me in the car, thankfully I had towels and wasn't driving. No box, no plastic bag, nothing. What if I'd been alone?...
Read moreOn the contrary...I am a bit beyond disappointed, here's why: My initial order was for a dozen long stem red roses with no green filler with a couple balloons...delivered 2/3 green filler with maybe 8 roses with leaves stripped off, then following my complaint asking for resending as ordered or refund, got a surprise re-delivery notice and photo of, I'm guessing here, a dozen over the hill, full bloomed or aka done for "fresh flowers", short cut stemmed red rosed, yikes, embarrassed I sent these to my sister at her new assisted living. All for $180.55. But I get it: out of town buyer, sent to an assisted living home, on credit card, so its lots of green, a 8/10 of usual stripped roses inserted, who the heck knows what is a fresh long stem rose looks like anyway, then in a belated, clumsy attempt to make it right, sent a dozen, thats 12, of yesterdays leftovers cut short as have no foliage (because all long stem roses droop) and who's to complain...I probably buy "fresh" flowers weekly, and notice that a dozen fresh roses at $21.99...but do appreciate the extra costs of delivery flowers...but experience at Gordon's flower boutique is simply as sad as it...
Read moreThe flowers are absolutely beautiful! And the overall experience was excellent! I placed a last minute order for the Sunflower Fantasy and Tyler candle in ‘Platinum’ for my man. It is a beautiful arrangement of sunflowers, roses, and greenery. He has never received flowers and I wanted to change that. Plus, I believe that it is best to give people their flowers while they are still here with us. And it is best to celebrate every win, no matter how small we think they are.
Overall, he loves everything! He is obsessed with anything that is made of wood. So I knew the wooden planter would be a huge hit. The Tyler ‘Platinum’ candle is leather scented which I knew he would love as well. I am happy that there are options for men on the website, as they deserve flowers too.
Lastly, the delivery driver waited for him to get home and hand delivered the flowers and candles directly to him! He was speechless when I talked to him. And talk about excellent customer service. I am very pleased and happy that I found your website. I will tell my friends and family. And you will have our business moving forward.
Thank...
