Cash America Pawn — Local services in Fort Worth

Probably one of the most notorious of well-known pawn shops for being rude ignorant, insulting in various ways,,

I’ve had many experiences with this store, particularly and the people in there are just plain rude !!!

And for some reason feel full of themselves like they are something that is important or special and you almost feel look down on or degraded before even talking to someone

Many times almost every time I’ll say I have brought an item in to try and sell, depending on who you get some there don’t even look the item up when you know it’s something that they do take in and is of pretty good value or they offer you 3 to 5 dollars without even looking at it.

And as of recently, I am sad that Cash America has become the main stream. Pawn Shop and there are many others not knowingly affiliated with Cash America. I went to sell something and they for some reason put me on a police stop without telling me ,

that they did or informing me why I had no clue so I seek out the corporation.

To my surprise, I found out the reason being was they were claiming I were making money from them by selling them an item from a different Pawn Shop,

so the red flag me . I explained to the corporate office that I never was really doing such things. I would buy something and resell it online and if two weeks go by,

If I wouldn’t be able to sell the item I would take it to whichever place I knew would purchase it back or buy it and put it on the floor for sale

Most times I would either break even or a little over or a little under the price that I purchased it for nothing of real value just getting money back.

So I was flagged for that now I can’t sell anything to just about any Pawn Shop anywhere that’s affiliated with Cash America and most of them are it’s been a financial hardship.

They won’t retract their decision and it’s been difficult!

Honestly if I could leave a negative one star I would. That is the worst pawn shop I have ever been to and honestly the owners need to get rid of the entire staff starting with the management. The last time I went in there I had a pair of 14k earrings and she the dark haired chick who is rude AF said honestly that’s about $5 worth of gold so I’m going pass. She didn’t weigh it or test it just ran me off. I went half a mile down the road and the same earrings got me over $100. And that pretty much happens every time I go in that location. I’m treated with rudeness and usually offered $10 no matter what I bring in and I end up taking it somewhere else and I’m paid correctly. Then when I go in there to buy something like this car radio. They had it listed at $120 and by the tag it had been sitting there for 6 months. I looked it up and Best Buy had the same one for 95$. I tell the clerk this and ask if he could just lower it to the same price as Best Buy and said rudely what I need to do is just go buy it there bc it doesn’t matter to him if they sell it. I was like wow. Since it’s so close to the house I stop in and it’s always the same a whole staff that has the sense of grandiosity almost like there doing me favor by letting me come in. I’m done with that location and I’m going to put the word out to stay away from that location until they fire that...

10/17 - Cassidy the assistant manager treated my husband & I badly 🤨🤨 We wanted to buy some earrings that we use to own in which was on display. The assistant manager told us that I would be charged double for the jewelry because the old ticket had been in my husband's name. In which is so unfair. She also stated that she couldn't go down on the price because we once owned the jewelry & she wanted to charge double on the interest . She also stated that the jewelry had been for sale on display for quite some time . We really wanted the jewelry back because we owned the jewelry for years . She treated us with contempt & made us feel that she didn't want us to have the jewelry back . She acted as if she was punishing & judging us for having financial hardship for trying to purchase the jewelry that we once owned . Is Cash America now giving employees permission to judge & punish customers for losing their items in pawn ? I don't think so ! That decision was made by her & her alone & needs to stop !
