Robinson's bar-b-que — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I got food poisoning the last time I went went which was on Tuesday of the week of the Thanksgiving and I have not stop having bm’ss. I have vomited my clear liquids because that’s all I could take in. I saw Mr Robinson on this last visit and he appeared to be out of it. He came to the drive thru window where I was waiting on my order. He stared and said nothing for about a minute or so I and I said” hey Mr Robison how are you”. He was still puzzled looking as if I had called him to the window and that he was waiting on me to ask him something. He finally said “they gonna get your order”. My order had been already taken about 7 min or so prior. He also had a large bandage on the back of his head. I’m a nurse and I’m very familiar with early signs of dementia. If it’s time to shut it down or delegate another to ensure the proper preparing, handling, and storing of the foods there then it needs to happen immediately. I will follow up and do what I can to make sure no one else will go thru what I am going through today. I’m so sick on Thanksgiving day. I will have to miss out on my mommas dressing, green bean, casserole, and warm banana pudding that I look forward to every year. Don’t eat at Robison right now . He may not be ready to retire but the orders he giving to these employees may not ones that are best...

I want to start this review by saying their food is so good. I love to find black owned businesses and support them. However, I hate to see when greed takes over and they forget to accommodate the very people giving them money. I love their ribs and they know they're good. They took away the option to get ribs on a plate and you have to buy large amounts at a time. This is extremely disappointing because it's literally advertised you can pick ANY two meats and when you go to order they say you can't do ribs... I'm like do yall know what any means? I'm a small girl I can eat like two ribs and get full and I know the workers are just doing their job, but as an owner you shouldn't advertise something that you don't mean and I feel as if they should have an option to get ribs in smaller portions. Heard about it' but wasn't at all impressed! The chicken was so dry and there was so many broken bones in it' why? So definitely take caution when serving to a child..
