The High Vegan — Restaurant in Fort Worth

We were excited that a new vegan take out place had opened near us, so we gave them a try ASAP. I ordered a meatball marinara sandwich and of course did not get it. Not only did I not get it, but my phone calls were not answered (first call just prior to their opening hours 11:00am I was actually hung up on). Following their directions online- I text my car description to their phone number indicating that we were outside their suite. The restaurant supposedly is located in a hair salon named Emerald Gems, but there was not any sign of people inside the closed off business. We did not receive our food nor did we get any type of communication from High Vegan. Maybe the name of the establishment should have been a foreshadowing of the owners' mindset. On this stormy day in fort Worth I decided I needed a healthy meal after a very stressful evening and I ordered food from this place not only was the owner very receptive and let me know that my food will come to my house even though we had experience of very bad storm My food got here early. It was fresh It was very flavorful and I'm not a vegan and I enjoy this like I was a vegan l. The food is great. I have been there twice. I’ve had the pizza empanadas, cheeseburger empanadas and chicken Alfredo pasta. All of it was delicious. I ordered my food to go both times but the owner seems very nice. Absolutely a must-try! 10/10...
