Bonehead Tattoo — Local services in Fort Worth

I just had an insane conversation with an extremely emotional and temperamental tattoo artist....I'm not going to name names because that's not how I roll...but I will say that first off my original artist that started a upper center piece on my back quit working for Bonehead before he could fade out the edge of my tattoo...I needed the outline pieces too be put in place surrounding the upper center piece ....so I called too see who could just do the outlines of two hamsas and a set of Hands to go underneath my upper center piece that wasn't finished yet...and the artist said come down I'll do it....and he did and a did a good job...he purposely did the underneath hands very faintly which has a great effect...I use several artist locally where I live for my half sleeves and so I let him fulfill my vision for what I wanted on the inside of one of the Hamsa hands and were currently working on the artwork for the other one...I also have a different artist working on the frame that is going to encompass all these works of art....now I called too see if the Bonehead artist had time to complete the faded hands he started at the bottom and he volunteered to finish the fade on the piece that the other Artist was not finished with when he quit...but when he learned that a different artist was filling in MY HAMSA hands ...he said and I quote.....WHAT YOUR LETTING SOMEONE ELSE FINISH MY TATTOO...I DON'T EVEN WANT TOO TATTOO YOU...and he hung up... Which isn't any big deal I've got other Artist that will gladly finish his cupped hands that he faintly placed underneath..they just need shading...but seriously he got so upset over the hamsa hands and they were just a straightline outline of a hand....wow....I'm not calling him back...and he made himself crystal clear...and he may think its an honor for his work to be displayed on his clients skin... but its also a priveledge that we allow him our skin for his canvas... he clearly doesn't want the person owning that skin to have any say so on who does what work where...its been my experience that some artist are naturally gifted into certain aspects of artistic design and my back tattoo is just that....ITS MINE...NOT HIS...and I get to design and allow free Reign over certain areas to whomever I choose....sooo beware that if your work isn't completed and your having others do different parts of it...there is a artist at Bonehead that will refuse to finish his work....Sooo he wasn't happy having the pair of Hands he began and didn't finish plus the extension of the tat the other guy hadnt finished. .no he wanted the hamsa hands and basically my entire back or he isn't doing anything....his loss is another artist gain....I'm just here to let you know what kind of unreasonable and insane expectations one of Bonehead artist had concerning MY SKIN... LOL...its hysterical that he thinks he owns my entire back skin just because he placed an...

Had a specific tattoo I wanted and provided a picture. I had been to 2 other tattoo shops (Tattoo Ranch and Royal 1 Tattoo) and was told it would look "F'd up" and "they would change things so it wouldn't look bad." Walked in, Fly immediately recognized the tattoo I wanted, asked where and how big, and went to draw up the sketch. It was my first tattoo and I CANNOT be happier with it. Absolutely love it!! Price was reasonable, took him 30 minutes, and he was finished. My best friend got a tattoo as well and she absolutely loves hers!! Place was very clean and the guys were awesome. They even stayed an hour after the shop closed and helped me and my best friend get into her car after she locked the keys inside! Super awesome people and will have all my future tattoo business. HIGHLY...

Went in with a group of friends &this one artist kept flirting with one of the girls. He kept babbling on about how her tattoo was so "rad" & she was going to be so sexy with it. Well when it was my turn he said my idea was stupid & nobody should have that tattoo. Well he just missed out on $120. He didn't know, but people ask me where to go to get tattoos. Another time and artist was doing a tattoo on me &he asked if I wanted a certain color added. I debated & he told me if i changed my mind i could come back in within 2 weeks. I called 2 days later to book an appointment to have that color added & he kept avoiding me! Other artists wouldn't book me because it wasn't "their business". What a shittastic place! I no longer recommend this...
