We spent about 10 minute in the drive thru line before we were able to order. After paying at the window and waiting for a few minutes, someone asked if we had ordered a patty melt. We said that we hadn't and showed our receipt. They said that our food was still cooking and asked us to pull forward to the edge of the curb. We did, and a few moments later the same person asked us to pull around to the front near the door. At this point, it had been 15 minutes since we had ordered. It was busy, so we thought nothing of it at first. However, we noticed people behind us in the drive thru and walking into the restaurant were leaving with their meals a lot faster. We didn't think our meal with that complicated - a chicken tender meal and a double meat burger meal with no bun - but again, we gave this location the benefit of the doubt because they seemed busy. About 35 minutes after we ordered, we parked and my boyfriend went inside to see what was going on. He spoke with the same guy who asked us to park by the front and explained that he wanted a refund. He said that he needed to get the manager and then wandered around aimlessly behind the counter/kitchen with the receipt before approaching the manager who seemed to just be doing really small tasks. When the manager finally approached the register she asked where we had drove off too since it was a drive thru order, and he explained that we had pulled up to the front door like the other employee had asked. She then nonchalantly said "Oh, well, I think your order is ready." My boyfriend told them that they could keep it and opted for a refund instead. There were at least 8 employees in the building, and none of them appeared to be doing much of anything. This location has the worst customer service out of any Whataburger we have ever been to. You're better off driving to Denton Hwy or Jacksboro Hwy. At least when they are busy, they communicate with you and know how to manage their lines. Just rude and tried to make an excuse for why an item wasn’t in there… she did not acknowledge me at all she was just I’m sure putting me on mute and talking mess because I mean I was a little upset but I was never rude to her. there is a way to handle this situation , took her a little reply to me with a mhhhm . Oh well the fries we did get were hard(which hardly ever happens at Whataburger) , wrong sizes of onion rings no shake , missed my complete tender meal , no ketchup , ranch , STRAWSSSSS even straws, no napkins SMH …. Read moreVisited this location at about 7:30pm CDT today. Pull into the drive thru and pleasently surprised that there was no wait. I pulled right up to the menu, selected my meal, and proceeded to wait for what seemed like 5 mins before being greeted over the speaker (it was probably 2-3 mins in reality). The guy was a bit rude while taking my order. I ordered with no cheese and no tomatoes.
Things were ok from here. Food was quick enough, and Raven was nice at the window.
I get home ready to enjoy my bacon whataburger and fries to find that....the fries are limp and cold. GROSS! Go to the burger. I didn't pull it apart to inspect the contents. Clearly, there was no cheese showing, so I dove in. Found some tomatoes! GROSS! I pulled the offending fruit from my burger before continuing to eat.
Summary: Wait was terrible at the menu Guy was rude Raven was fine Food was cold, limp, and not how it was ordered...
