Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Haltom City

UPDATE: THERE IS A NEW MANAGER AND SO FAR SO GOOD! The phone now rings and is answered too. Go by and tell him thanks for cleaning the place up! I added one star for the improvement. I’ll add more if they keep it up! You started off as a good memory fulfilled for me. I haven’t been in town to have taco bueno in years. I miss it! How is Taco Bell still in business after being in the same market anyway? My first order here was frustrating but your friendly girl at the counter helped us through. (My husband like chicken and cheese only soft tacos) Apparently chicken and cheese soft tacos aren’t available in the Wholotta box- please reevaluate that decision. My second visit was ok, drive thru ladies were not personable. My third visit was 2 beef and cheese burritos- got 4 bean and cheese burritos. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I tried to call the restaurant and ask for a replacement but the phone just makes a weird noise ultimately. My husband called- same thing. Days later- same thing. Fourth visit, ordered 2 Coke’s and got them but the mix was off. In the window I asked the girl “Since my order was wrong the other day...” she interrupted and said “oh I didn’t make the food” Me: I understand that ma’am. Do you have a different phone number that is different than the one online? Her: No they stole our phone? Me: Do what? Someone stole your phone? Does corporate know you don’t have a phone? Who would steal your phone? Was there a robbery? Her: ohhh I don’t know. It hasn’t been here since I started here. Me: So do you have a manager that can help me make the order right next time I come through? Her: shuts the window Me: waits patiently until she comes back Her: oh yeah we do but she’s busy. Me: don’t worry about it today but when I come back iso expect to be able to make that right. Her: oh ok you can try.

Was here on 08/23/2023. Was waiting to finish my order when a blonde lady wearing a Bueno uniform came in turned the front door trash cans around. As I was waiting for my meal she proceeded to mumble something under her breath because there were some lids on the soda counter. As I am sitting eati g a gentleman walked in, by this time she was sweeping the floor across the restaurant as the man sat down she told him "I'm going to sweep there" She was no where near the area the poor guy got up and moved to another area. As I finished my meal she had a very mean unapproachable look on her face. I was walking to the trash can and she says" The trash can is on the other side." I told her my car is parked by this door I'm exiting thru there. Then she said " well just leave it there I guess I can take care of it." I told her well you turned the trash cans around. I set my tray diwn and left. The other staff that was there was awesome and very polite. I did their survey on line and gave them a bad score because of the interaction with this lady who was rude. There was a guy at the drive thru working (super nice) very attentive and seemed caring. I was using tap to pay on my phone and it kept timing out on him. I showed him my bank account and it charged me sent it back and then charged me again. He went to show his manager and she came to the front. Her name was Adelina. She was super rude! I even showed her proof that it took it out of my account and instead of making things right by the customer, she had a crap grin on her face like “good luck” I let her know I will be contacting corporate as I will do that next. I usually am pretty relaxed and do not make reviews but this experience with her was out of line. She was rude. Customer did not come first. I will not be visiting this taco bueno at all ever again.
