After waiting for 55+ minutes to be seated, Kaley, our server came to get our drink order… we ordered our meal immediately since we were so hungry. I also asked for butter without sugar for the rolls. (I’m diabetic.) She didn’t come back with butter so after approximately 8 minutes I went up to the front to get it. Once it was brought to us, Kaley showed up with more rolls & regular butter. At this point it was another 15 minutes latter we finally get our salad. Kaley, our server, who had been talking to a group of friends in the next booth stepped sideways to ask us how our salad is. “We just got it””. After finishing our salad, it took another 15 minutes to get our entree. Again, as soon as it was delivered, Kaley side steps from friends booth to ask us how it is. We haven’t had a chance to take a bite of it yet. As soon as I cut into my chicken fried steak I immediately noticed it was chicken fried chicken. Kaley entered the wrong entree! I sent it back with someone serving Kaley’s friends. Now, this time was pretty fast as compared to the first time. It only took about 10 minutes to get the correct entree. Kaley is back over laughing & talking with her friends. Before we get the correct entree Kaley leaves her friends to ask us if we enjoyed our meal. NO, we haven’t eaten it yet!!! We tell her we ordered the chicken fried steak not chicken and are still waiting on our food. I’m so pissed at this point I tell her to just go back to her friends. Once we got the correct entree, she comes back over to us & asks us if we are “happy yet”? Kaley doesn’t like my unpleasant attitude at this point & asks the manger to speak with us. The manager did not care how completely dissatisfied we were. I pointed out how she is with her friends again and all he said is “he would speak to her.” Apology from the manager but nothing more to make the crappiest service right in any way.
To tell you how long it took today. We came in at 5:04 and checked out at 6:57. (Time stamped on text message & receipt.) A family sitting next to us on the benches prior to being seated came in 30 minutes after we got on the list. They were leaving with a leftover box before we got the correct meal.
And the so called manager said he was sorry but when you have to send back your food to re-order it takes time, like I was the one that screwed...

However, this was hands down not only the most disappointing experience at Texas Roadhouse but one of the most disappointing experiences out to any restaurants we have ever had in years. I truly hate complaining about restaurants (look at my review history) but this sadly needs to be done. We will start off simple with my steak. Prime rib medium rare 14 oz with salad add bacon and a loaded sweet potato. Salad comes out with no bacon, easy peasy fix. Prime rib is rare, I can deal with it and loaded sweet potato is not loaded with anything but marshmallows, ok fine. Now this is where I am truly mind blown and absolutely disappointed in this location. My husband and our daughter meals. His order was a 6 oz filet M.R. w/ shrimp add on, rice & mashed potatoes. Our daughter's order was a 8 oz NY strip M.R.w/ fries and Mac& cheese. Both are brought out Pennsylvania blue. To the point both are ice cold in the center. Our daughter gets green beans instead of fries. So, we let the food runner know this is incorrect. She says she will let our server know. She does not take the food back. Another server comes by and takes them back. Second time around, a third server proceeds to set the steaks down and this time my husbands steak has mushrooms and onions on top of his steak? Ummm where did these come from? He has a mushroom allergy so they were definitely not requested. The third server apologizes but we tell her this is obviously not her fault and at this point it has to be a prank because, why else would this be going on? Our original server comes back and also apologizes but still at no point has a manager stopped by. I finally request a manager because these servers are not at any fault for this. Our daughter's steak is finally corrected but still no end in sight for my husbands. A few minutes goes by and the manager comes by(finally) and has no explanation other than she will take his steak off. He finally receives his steak again for the third time but with that steak is the original shrimp (so cold and old). I know this long but truly, the ball was missed. Read moreThe food was absolutely amazing, but unfortunately, the online pickup service left much to be desired. After placing my order through the app, I was told that my food would be ready at exactly 8:17 p.m. I arrived a little early, at 8:12, understanding that I might need to wait a few minutes for the food to be finished. When I got there, I checked in with the two ladies who were working at the pickup station. One of them kindly informed me that my order had just come out of the kitchen and asked me to give her five minutes to bag everything up. Feeling reassured, we chose to sit on the bench just outside the pickup window to wait for the food.
As we sat there, we noticed that other customers were coming and going, picking up their orders and leaving. Even though people were getting their food, we continued to sit patiently, assuming our order would be ready soon. However, as the minutes ticked by, it became harder to ignore the fact that something was wrong. After almost 35 minutes of waiting, frustration began to set in. We had been waiting long enough for several other orders to come and go, and I couldn’t understand why it was taking so long for ours.
Finally, after 35 minutes of patient but growingly irritated waiting, I decided to get up and ask the same lady I had spoken with earlier about the status of my order. She seemed surprised that I was still waiting and promised to look into it. Another five minutes passed, and at this point, I was feeling a mix of confusion and annoyance. When she finally came back, she informed me that the other lady was about to bring my order out and go over it with me. It was clear that something had gone wrong, but there was no explanation or apology offered for the extended wait.
The experience was incredibly frustrating, especially considering how much time we had spent waiting for food that was supposed to be ready long before. Although the food itself was delicious, the poor communication and the excessive wait time for the pickup completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable experience.
