Zero stars if I could for partnering with an unprofessional towing company such as LRS towing. Parked here to go to roadhouse not knowing what was to come. Saw a sign at roadhouse that said not to park at IHOP or crab pack and I ran to my car. Within 3 minutes, my car was booted. They camp out and wait for you to leave so they can boot your car instead of verbally warning you. $150 to get it off with cash or $160 with a credit card on their sketchy machine that YOUNG KIDS are collecting with zero company attire or company vehicle, nothing!!! Not doing it. Then I rightfully got upset and now that’s $50 more since I was disrespectful. They said ok fine we will tow you, I said okay! I won’t be leaving my vehicle then. That’s now $200. Then since I called the police it’s $300! PRICE GOUGING AND INDIVIDUALS WITH TOO MUCH TIME IF I EVER SEEN IT! they try to TOW ME WITH ME AND MY TWO YEAR OLD IN THE CAR!!!!!! Fort Worth police come out and demand they unhook me, so they did and argued with them how there are NOT enough signs and that price gouging is unethical and they were WRONG for this and after 2 hours of going back and forth and calling more and more police out, they have them unboot me for $0… because this company WRONGFULLY BOOTS AND TOWS! The owner even took sweet time out of his day to come and be a problem too. Nothing about this company is professional, ethical or remotely sufficient. PLEASE care about people and at LEAST put VISIBLE signs everywhere and partner with a more ethical company! This was INSANE!!!!! Trying to tow me while I was in the car with my kid is crossing a MAJOR line!!! Placing a complaint anywhere I see fit and I come to this IHOP ALL the time and bring large groups, and I will not be back and will warn everyone to do the same for as long as yall are partners with this company that legit was going to kidnap me in my own car with my kid if the police didn’t stop them.
Below are pictures of what is supposed to be a “visible sign” to know you can’t park there and the other photo is of them actually trying to tow me with me in the vehicle. DO...
Read moreWe will never be going back here. We are from Tulsa and came to eat at this location. My husband has celiac disease which means he is allergic to gluten. We have been to ihop several times since then and have been fine. My husband told our waitress that he was allergic to gluten, it is the first thing we disclose at ANY restaurant. He orders the gluten friendly pancakes. Whenever they come he asks her to make sure that they are the gluten free ones and she tells him yes. He ate three of the pancakes and told me he wasn’t feeling good. Whenever we got our ticket it said protein pancakes. We asked the waitress if she made a mistake on the receipt or actually gave him protein pancakes. She said he had the protein pancakes. I told her those were not gluten free. She said they were the same thing. So I looked up the menu and they were not on the gluten friendly portion. Then found the protein pancakes and it tells you what is in them. Rye is one of the ingredients which is part of gluten. We told her this and she says she will ask the cook. She comes back and says the cook said they are gluten free. We ask for a manager. He was very unhelpful. Offered to comp only the pancakes after the waitress lied and gave my husband something he is allergic to. Ridiculous. My brother had to ASK him to just comp both his and I’s meal which he eventually did. He even tried to turn it around on us saying that it only says gluten friendly because it is fried in the same spot. Which we know and we know that risk. However that is much different than CONSUMING three pancakes of what he is allergic to. He has been sick all day today. Whenever my husband said he would be going to call he tried to tell him that they would just send him back to him and resolve it. This was...
Read moreWife and I had a late night craving and decided that IHOP was the answer… boy do I wish we had seen what was coming. She ordered the strawberries and cream biscuit and I the lemon ricotta and blueberry pancakes being hungry we upgraded to combos. Server brought out the eggs, sausage and potatoes and then informed us that they were out of fresh strawberries and only had the preserves (no big deal) so we chose to go with it. With all of our food on the table we toasted each other and proceeded to take our first bites. Strike one was her sausage being no where close to done, she has a sensitive stomach and as soon as she saw the raw pork she immediately started feeling queasy. She tried to power through with the biscuit but found it dry, bland, and hard to eat. Strikes two and three came from my dish. The lemon ricotta and blueberry pancakes came with a minuscule amount of lemon ricotta and much to my surprise not a single blueberry. When the server came to check on us I asked if I had ordered the correct dish just to be sure to which he promptly replied yes as if I were unsure of what I ordered, when I brought to his attention the lack of blueberries in or even on my pancakes he finally told me that they were out of the dried blueberries that go in the mix. The time to mention that little bit of information I feel like would have been before the majority of my order hit the table to allow time for an order change if needed. So lack of ingredients, assumptions, and lack of communication were the final straws for us. My wife is currently evacuating her body of all of it’s daily contents and I’m left with concern for her and a lack of satisfaction in...
